  • Join Laila Pettersen, Wella Professionals Color Expert in creating a mesmerizing pastel balayage hair using the foilayage technique, Blondorplex, Illumina Color and Color Touch. Laila will share some useful hints and tips on how to perform a foilayage technique and use pastel toners to create a melted pastel effect. Check out the full formulas and step by step instructions below:
    Step 1: Lighten using BlondorPlex + 6% (1:2)
Step 2: Take half inch sections, softly backcomb the section to create a soft blend.
Step 3: Develop up to 30min, rinse and remove using Wellaplex no 2 for 10min.
Step 4: Alternate your pastel shades:
    1) 20g 10/81+ 2g 0/88 + 44g 1.9%
    2) 20g 9/96 + 10g 10/81 + 1.5g 55/65 63g 1.9%
    3) 20g 10/6 + 5g 0/68 + 50g 1.9%
Tip: Apply your pastel shades slightly away from the roots to avoid any lift of the natural base and create a natural looking result near the roots.

So when it says the mixing ratio is 1 :2 does that mean 1 ounce of developer and two parts color or two parts color to one part developer? I am new to using this color line and I love the beautiful colors!

I would appreciate it if you could attach a link to Walla's pastel colors. And how do you see the shades? I'm looking for a silver pearl white color

I somehow dislike that the roots remained a natural yellow blonde.
It looks "dirty" in direct comparison to the pastel colours.

I love it but why always the subtitles in most of the videos are wrong like BlondorPlex you've wrote Blond or fleks? 🙄😳
