hey thak i made a deathmatch concept for apex tell me what you think. maps The maps for deathmatch would be the arena ones. There would be 3 players on each team. There could be a survey beacon that if you scan all players are revealed for your team, it would last for 1.5 seconds. Also there would be 5 checkpoints. You can secure the checkpoints to win. legends/loadouts You get to chose your legend at the start of the game. You cannot change your legend or chose the same legend as your teammates. Your abilities have a cooldown. Your tactical ability starts at half each time when you respawn. But your ultimate does not reset until you use it. Your tactical does reset fully when you use it but you can get your tactical again if you wait. And you never have to wait for your passive. Loadouts would be a new system implemented for this gamemode. Everyone would get 1-2 weapons to choose depending on the category they are in. no starting weapon would have attachments.you start with 3 loadout selections but you can earn 3 more. One more thing to add in this gamemode grenades are NOT on cooldown and there is NOT infinite ammo. you would have to kill enemies to get more. But these things do reset when you respawn. You get 4 starting grenades. And a base ammo depending on the gun. Also secondaries are limited to shotguns and pistols. You can not use shotguns and pistols as a primary weapon. The objective The object is simply to just get 50 kills. Or secure 3/5 checkpoints. It would take 2 minutes with one person to secure a checkpoint. 1.5 minutes with 2 people and 1 minute with 3 people. You cannot secure a checkpoint if both teams are in one. And it takes the same amount of time/people to unsecure a enemy checkpoint. Also every match would have a time limit of 10 minutes. Level system There would be a completely new level up system. This is how you would get new cosmetics, weapons, and guns/grenades. How level up is 1 kill is 100xp. 200 damage is 75xp. Securing the checkpoint is 150xp. It takes more xp to level up the more valuable the rewards are. The system would work like 1 level is a attachment them the other is a cosmetic following this pattern until level 10 at the tenth level you get a gun then repeats this pattern. This level up system will expand as more weapons and attachments get added. ranked The ranked system would work more like the battle royal than arenas. The points you get are called dp (deathpoints). You can score dp for winning, kills, and securing checkpoints. A kill will get you 5dp. Winning will get you 60dp. Securing a checkpoint will get you 15dp. The kill max for dp is 10 kills. The checkpoint securing max is 3. If you are in bronze you get no loss in dp. In silver you would get a 30 dp loss. In gold you get a 45dp loss. In platinum you get a 50dp loss. In diamond you get a 65 dp loss. In masters/predators you get a 70dp loss. The max amount of dp you can get in one match is 165dp.
Great concept Timmy. Really well thought out. I do think we will see a deathmatch mode eventually. I hear a domination type mode will be the next one introduced though.
