Man, I've seen gymnasts do this as a kid and tried to do it so many times. Eventually I just gave up thinking this wasn't for me. It would have saved me a lot of angst if I knew that about 25 years later and 6,500 miles away, Geek Climber would get me to pull my fat ass over the bar in a half hour of instruction!
1.Jump from behind the bar to swing 2. Swing only once 3.Catch the bar with an active hang 4. Look at the bar 5. Bring knees close to chest kip 6. Stay relaxed while engaging shoulder 7. Thumbs under the bar 8. Push back on the way down for consecutive reps
I'd love to have a session like this with Geek Climber. Not really a good practise bar near me... I have one calisthenics area I can bike out to on weekends, but the bars there are higher than norrmal, whereas in this case they are lower than normal. Fine for pullups, but for this I think it's a disadvantage probably... at my gym the bars are so close to benchbress benchI feel like I'm swinging into the barbell crotch first, when you try to get that swing :p I've practised this only a bit now and then... maybe I'll try and follow this video from phone, although it's prob better to memorize... cuz having to pause and press play for each tip is quite disruptive. :) Anyways, nice video, definitely gives the inspiration to try something. I'd love to see Geek Climber try and learn some freerunning parkour type of stuff, doesn't have to be from high buildings, just like monkey flipping, cartwheeling off of things and stuff like that :)
Wow, worlds are colliding for me! I've looked up to Vova since I was a little kid first learning to juggle. But he seemed to leave the public eye at some point. So glad to see him again!
Same! I've known of him for at least 20 years since I was very first looking up juggling content online (although I'll admit, from the thumbnail I thought it was Jason Garfield :D)
Thank you soooo much for making this video and explaining the technical details one component at a time. I've been trying to learn the bar muscle up technique for 6m and finally achieved my first few reps yesterday after watching your video again!! Phenomenal content 👏 keep ot up my friend 🎉

Only ever attempted it once but I was happy to see his attempts looked exactly like mine before he got it. Pullups and strength we also have kinda the same, perhaps ill try it again today.
Broooo he learned muscle up in just one videoooo!!!! I've been trying for 4months and I can do five 50% additional body weight pull ups but still unable to do it
3:00 when you say "bring your knees up" does that mean that your upper body should start laying back? like, do I need to make it parallel to the ground while bringing my knees up or do I need to keep it perpendicular to the ground?
Neither one. You should focus more on the C shape he talked about in the beginning. When you record yourself from the side you shouldn't be upright actually
I Saw Your Old Video How To Do Muscl Up.. But This Video really Help Me The Tip Of Looking Towards Bar Help Me To Do Muscle Up Thankyou Bro..😄😍 Can You Make MOre Videos Like This On Other Moves Like Hand Stand ,And Front Lever etc...

The best muscle-up tutorial I have seen so far. I made literally all mistakes from the video.
Motivation! I've been working on this a bit recently. If dude can get it in 30 min, I should be able to as well~
I didn't know that Vin Diesel couldn't make muscle-up
This is Vova Galchenko?! Damn, I would have never recognized him. And he was my idol 15 years ago when I was learning juggling.
Broooo he learned muscle up in just one videoooo!!!! I've been trying for 4months and I can do five 50% additional body weight pull ups but still unable to do it

Great video. I think I can see what I was doing wrong on my most recent attempts.

The hardest part is the c motion/time

bro u got hacked
Oh no!
he's now uploading adobe software with virus damn
A combination of timed coordinated movements. It reminds me of people doing a clean and jerk lift. It's about technique besides strength.
channel got hacked guys careful on recent videos
Great video with the information needed I’m going to try this
He’s training for it before 💯 because of the muscle up roller at the end , he use to do it , its not first muscle up for him 😉
You're definitely a great coach ❤❤ it was nice to see that fast progress
U seem to be too kind and i love it haha
I aspire to be like u
He don't do a muscle up but a glide kip, nice effort anyway
Well, not quite a glide kip, but in some sense you are right.
@@Galchenko Doing it bent leg doesn't change anything
