He had by far the best technique, got up next to the machine with his body facing inwards so he could put his whole body through the punch.
If you played some sports like basketball or handball as a kid you would probably score higher than average person. Also you can get decent punching tehnique just by doing some shadow boxing few minutes a day, lot of people are doing it as part of their cardio.
I got a 750 with no punch traing just natural strength

It's mostly about technique, and then power.
I'm not weak looking by any means, but the first time I tried it, I got like 380.
Did that for 3 times, and got 727, which isn't high, but definitely not weak.

My friend group’s weakest person got 740, which was not terrible since we saw a few ppl get 500 but generally his family aren’t genetically strong. Then my portugese friend got 983 and his family are pretty strong. I got 903 but unlike my portugese friend im not built to throw heavy punches (though my dad and brother definitely are - unfortunately for me) so i’m gonna say genetic strength is a large contributing factor to this.
