    Not to make excuses, but I feel like I have to explain that I had knee surgery on my left leg and haven't been in a studio to practice technique since then (October)... and that's why the left is so terrible lol. Anyway, ENJOY!

    You other video on a la seconde turns really helped my daughter. She was having some trouble with hopping & traveling initially. The tips you gave helped her correct this.

    Thank you so much for this!! I was really struggling with these and could not figure out why but just going back to the barre and marking things in this video made me realize what I was doing wrong and how to fix it. You're awesome!!

    I just found out about your channel and your videos are wonderful! you don't just teach it you teach with knowing all the struggles we have with this particular dance move! Oh and FYI my calves felt ripped apart after this, shows that this video is a REAL a la second tutorial! I can do a la secondes now!

    I want to try these again, I had already done it once and when I had 5-6 a la secondes I thought that I “mastered” it and it wasn’t necessary for me to keep practicing, I WAS WRONG now I tried turning again and I’m hopping, falling, only able to do one, not keeping my spot and legs straight and I’ve lost all technique. Sometimes I’m not even able to do one. But I want to finish what I started and keep practicing everyday ❤❤ thank youu so much for this video, Ik this video was posted long ago but still helps me!! ❤

    Just found your videos. My daughter is in middle schook and looking for things at home she can do to improve her dancing. These are great tips and work outs. I even do them with her.

    Hi, I’m struggling a lot with these..... I can’t stop hopping, my leg won’t turn out and I’m having a hard time spotting..... do you have any tips for me as I’ve been trying to get them for 3 months now and I’ve not done one yet😣 please keep making videos, they are very helpful ❤️❤️

    • @KayleenBabel
      @KayleenBabel  4 роки тому +1

      hmmm I can't give any specific recommendations without seeing you, but I would recommend working on technique other than just this video! Spotting takes time to learn and I think it helps to practice chaine turns to learn spotting. Don't give up!!!

    About how long does it take to have consistent turns? I feel like when I don't practice, I can't do them.

    Thank you for making this video! I just have one question, on exercise three is my foot supposed to move with the arms? Because my foot moves when I go to second position and I don’t know if it should move or stay in front. 🤍
