I love how this album brings hip-hopheads, experimental music nerds, LGBTQ+ people and metalheads together with unison praise. Well deserved the Polaris.
This is a monster quintessential album. A piece of history in itself for how it blends different modern music. An highly enjoyable too, which is what counts in the end!
"You underestimate the audience... What they really want is something sacred..." -Paraphrased Jim Morrison line in the movie 'The Doors'. That sums up a lot of what catches my ear often.

Are you fucking kidding me? Now I listened to a lot of music... this is just glorious! It's all the things I like put together yet it's so fresh. It hits the right notes at the right spots. I LOVE IT!

@@casserCOM Backxwash asked, eric. Her lyrics about non-conformaty and religion made OP state she fucks with that, eric. DID YOU LISTEN TO THE ALBUM, ERIC?
There hasn't been a lot of recent hip hop that I've liked, but this is good. It's kinda like Tricky, but in the vein of Techno Animals/Dalek, with less of an industrial production.
@@MrRekarbenots It's a shame, because Justin Broadrick is probably one of the most important innovators for the UK music scene, I just love the production on his work. Megaton / Classical Homicide is one of my favourite splits.
@@earlisonline I gotta check out more of Clipping. I watched one of their video's after you mentioned them and it reminded me of John Carpenter's credit sequence from Halloween. So far so dope!

Just saw a dude in New Orleans wearing a "Backxwash- God has nothing to do with it" t shirt.... I ended up here. 1st time listener.
Please put this back on Spotify 😩
it was deleted???
It's not on tidal either, my guess would be sampling/licencing issues.
She put the album up on Bandcamp FOR FREE. Go get it 😊
@@KVLwrites yesss I have it downloaded already ♥️♥️♥️
I remember this album exists every other month or so and listen to the whole thing. Deeply wish it was on spotify :(

Spotify sucks
Apparently it has too many samples.
You just know it's gonna be a quality release when the album starts with an Ozzy vocal sample.
That sabbath sample made me loved this instantly
