This year I am craving beachy, salty scents for summer, and I’ve been layering Bvlgari’s Aqua Divina with Coach Sunset Dreams, they are amazing together and I’ve gotten so many compliments. I don’t like Aqua Divina on its own, but it’s fantastic for layering with fresh, fruity-sweet scents. Btw, do you have any high-quality or niche alternatives to Jessica Simpson’s Fancy or Viva La Juicy Gold Couture? I love those two, and I wish for something similar but more sophisticated or refined, maybe abit more complex with a touch of spice, but not too heavy for all-year-round wear.
All the Un Jardin perfumes are amazing but A Cythere is the best imo, its so unique and warm but still very fresh.

Right now my summer scent is Andrea Maack Lightsource, which is as cooling and bracing as being on a glacier! I really enjoy its sharp freshness. Two unique and beautiful spring scents I sampled recently are Pierre Guillaume Orchidivy and Liquides Imaginaires Ame du Coeur. Orchidivy is an airy-soft, very feminine fruity floral, while Ame du Coeur is a spicy, peppery citrus scent with gourmand notes like cocoa and vanilla. All three are definitely worth checking out! 😄
Hermes - Un jardin sur le nil is also amazing. It has this fresh & green mango scent which I love so much. I can’t wait to try more from the “Un jardin” line 😊
I have sur le nil too and I love it. Another from le jardin line I love is A Cythere for me it's unique, just like what Monika said, summer scents need not be all aquatic 😊❤❤❤

Exactly, fragrances go to our emotions unconsciosly... the other day I was in a very bad mood and I could not understand why, cause nothing went wrong...I had chosen a fragrance of mine after one year and despite I love the smell, I realized that I used to wear it in a very sad time last summer..

Oddly enough, Baccarat Rouge 540 takes me back to memories of spending time with my family at my mother’s family cabin on a windy lake in Nova Scotia as child (where we’d eat cinnamon and brown sugar toast for breakfast and spend the whole day swimming in or boating on the lake, which was in a heavily wooded area…interesting). She passed 3 years ago so wearing it reminds me of her. That’s what I love about this new scent journey. Cool you talk about feelings and ‘fields’ as it’s profound where scents take you…thanks again and can’t wait to try Lilac Love from my new Amouge samples yay!!! Gonna try now! Thanks 🙏 ❤!

I wholeheartedly agree on Burberry Her EdT - I recently discovered it while looking for the Her Elixir EdP, and it's incredible for summer! The other scent I randomly reached for at the store because (ngl) the bottle looked so pretty is Soleil Vibrant by Lalique. It's like.. a citrusy cocktail. Refreshing, sparkly, it's as if a mimosa (both in flavor and vibe) was a perfume? That's as close as I can get with the description. Amazing!
I bought Mandorlo di Sicilia after you spoke about it in a video. I love it! It’s so addictive. I will wear it in every season. It’s a little like hypnotic poison but with much better performance. There is another ADP that I love in the summer that’s a little weird, Vaniglia, it’s a fresh vanilla with a touch of citrus and powdery florals. It smells like an expensive Italian hotel lobby, so good.
Have you tried Guerlain Aqua Allegoria Bergamote Calabria? I find it so elegant for hot days

Oh! I agree 100% that Another 13 is an absolute masterpiece. I’ve tried Juliet Has A Gun “Not a perfume” but you can’t compare those two. Another 13 is so much more elegant and subtle. I would also recommend BDK “Saint Honoré” if you like Another 13. It’s a wonderful your skin but better scent. Sort of giving me Santal 33+ Another 13 combo but way more delicate.
I would love to see a brand review of Atelier Cologne😍🥺 In my country we don't have the opportunity to sample them, but I have been eyeing that brand some time now... But I don't want to fully blind buy.

Try Kobe Gardens from The Nose Behind. It has the most beautiful and unusual mint note ever. Super refreshing, but not in a citrussy way.🌿

I'm brand new to the world of perfumes, but the fragrance that has been my everyday for years is Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea, which is a very citrusy white floral type of scent. I'd love to find more fragrances like that, but longer lasting; sounds like some of these might be close!

Chanel chance eau fraiche edt and nishane wulong cha are both long lasting citrus that work well in the heat.
A lovely clean musk is jovoy musc Pallas.
I’m also liking jhag sunny side up, floraiku I am coming home, and pink me up.
And weirdly I am thinking of how the toffee note comes out on the old jimmy choo in the heat. I’m considering bringing a bottle back into the collection while it’s still available on the discount sites.

I adore Totally White/126 from Parle moi de parfum. It's so clear, watery, it's really transparent, like a water in a garden full of flowers. Really natural ... a fragrance of flowery water light and evident.
Monika, you're so right about fragrance being associated with memories. There's a perfume I used to wear with my ex fiance. I haven't worn it since we broke up because of the memories of that time in my life. I'm going to take your suggestion of buying a new perfume for a vacation. I used to own Mandorlo di Sicilia and it smelled exactly like cream soda.
Thank you for the ideas. Still looking fresh fig scents for spring summer, but I've heard Un Jardin Mediterranee too "humid & damp" for hot midsummer months .. that's way I asked a sample of Un Jardin Sur le Nil, it's beautiful fragrance but the dry down too sweet for my nose (I love Un Jardin series, had Sur la Lagune for in the spring only).
They said Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi smells like fresh fig.. do not have any Acqua Di Parma yet in my collection, definitely will put my nose on Mardorlo Sicily.
So far my scent for in the summer : Jo Malone Grapefruit & Eau des Minimes Cologne Le Couvent Maison bergamot
I also really like Jo Malone's Grapefruit!! Diptique's Philosykos is a really nice fresh fig scent
Grapefruit is very linear scent, you get grapefruit - rosemary - mint.
Another bitter & green citrusy fragrance for hot summer days that I occasionally use is Eau de Campagne from Sisley.

I just saw the video, thank you for addressing summer fragrances. I am not that excited about freshy summer fragrances. I’d like to pick a signature spring summer scent that’s a bit more tropical. A take on a coconut pineapple sweet scent that has more depth than a basic suntan scent. Summer tropicals with projection and longevity, I would say. Thank you.

Try Citrus Poetry from Les Sœurs de Noé.. it’s a refreshing citrus perfume with ginger, pepper and moss.. absolutely beautiful for the hot summer days 😊 and my second tip would be ormonde jayne "ormonde woman".. grassy and creamy and with pine green - very unusual

Am I the only odd one out, who absolutely hates patchouli heavy fragrances in the winter, but love them in the summer (sprayed lightly)? In the winter, patch is ALL I get from them, in the summer they smell like I think they're supposed to :D
