Sun is from Vacuo, but will play for Mistral. So were setting up by now having a rep from all 4 kingdoms. Sun counts as 2 because... well, you'll see. He's just Sun. Better not to ask. Ask his team when they're introduced.
People are only saying Weiss is best girl cus they have knowledge of what happens in other seasons lol. At this point in the show we all disliked Weiss. It’s definitely understandable what Weiss is feeling though
For something you guys should react to... well, RWBY here was originally made by Monty Oum. But, Monty had two other works before this. They were Haloid and Dead Fantasy. You should check them out.^^
Don't think it's fair to judge Weiss this time, she has a whole bunch of reasons to hate the White Fang, the problem is that she directed that "hate" for the faunus in general, just like the White Fang did with humanity. But she wouldn't know the truth from where she's from, so it's so good that she ended on the same team as Blake, to understand their side. Btw I think you guys are ignoring her changes a lot, you can notice the difference between her behavior on the first episodes and in this episode, she's not looking down on others like before and definitely is showing a better relationship with Ruby. Ofc she won't change in a blink, and also there's parts of her that are her own personality and shouldn't be changed, it's not because she's that strict and argumentative kind of character that she's still the same annoying brat from before. And from here on, she will evolve a lot, I promise you!
Just you wait until volume 6, where one of the episodes is over 30 minutes,if I remember correctly… I think the last episode of volume 3 is similar in length , but the last episodes of a volume are extra long, so it’s not actually quite as long… They typically aim for about 18 minutes once you get to like volumes 3 and 4, but by volume 2 they are normally around this length. By the way, just in case no one said or you forgot, look out for end credits scene at the end of each volume.
I think the part that makes it hard to sympathize with Weiss even this early on is that she just doesn’t dislike the white fang but she also doesn’t like the Faunus in general, which would include the bunny girl who was getting bullied a few episodes ago
Well, she actually doesn't have a dislike to fanus as a whole. Even at this point in the show, Weiss only ever dislikes fanus who break the law. Sure, she's biased, but she's not ignorant enough to assume all fanus are criminals. A continued point in her language is "those fanus" referring to the White Fang. By extension, she doesn't like fanus who commit crimes, ex. Sun bc she feels like they'll join the White Fang. Weiss grows up on the most extreme end of the Fanus Human discrimination war. And not to say she isn't biased bc of the violence inflicted upon her, but her attitude tends to make people think she just hates fanus when her prejudice is quite more focused than just blanket racism.

Gentleman, you've just met two characters you will get to know some...... Sun and Penny!! Two unique ppl that I think you'll enjoy. Best I should leave it at that..... As for Blake & Weiss.... Well, the riff between Faunus & Humans is a complex history. You'll learn more as we go along. So, be prepared, Chase & Sky. o7

This episode was a very interesting one to see Sun and Penny making appearance in this series as they are one of my favorite characters from this series 😄 I can’t wait to see their skills shine on you guys faces.

I dont blame you for hating Weiss at this point, in her words, she was... "Difficult" and her racism diDnt made it easier. BUT, believe us, she will have a lot of character development, maybe the one of the group with more growth through the volumes.
You guys have now been introduced to best girl Penny. Prepare for major feels down the line involving her. Weiss gets better in later volumes so her likeability improves. By the way would you guys consider reacting to the anime Gintama and its OP's and ED's?
