He also shows us WHY people are so loyal to Dutch "he forgives me... even when I cannot forgive myself". Dutch provides that validation that nobody else seemingly can to people. That's why people would live and die for him.
I like the way he changed from a drunk junkie to the sober guy in the ending. This is why I don't do the Sister missions - I want to see the Reverend more.
Another video idea for yea! GTA 4 Lost and the damned dlc and the similarities between with RD2. Both talk about betrayal by a potential father figure. I'd even say Jonny in GTA 4 is identical to Arthur and maturity through the game.
Well, we all know that reveran is such a drunk , almost at the end he changed and decided to leave the outlaw life . Because it ain’t worth dying. Aleast he’s smart enough to know
I mean…. Is Swanson that much different, in terms of active participation in the overall crimes and usefulness, than characters like Abigail, Uncle, Mary-Beth, Tilly, Molly, and Karen to an extent? They all don’t really DO much in terms of the major plot. They all mostly stay at camp. Same with Pearson and Grimshaw, though they at least do a lot to keep the camp running. Trelawny is also not present much, though he is the catalyst for a lot of the jobs and crimes. Not every character can be a John or Arthur or Dutch or Micah or etc. Can you really say people like Uncle or Tilly are more “useful” than Swanson? No.

He had a line of dialogue that really resonated with me and made me like him.
"I wish I was different"
I wish he was different too
When he was a reverend and turned what he is, that’s not sufficient!
I think he was under used in the story. His character development could mirror arthur as the chapters went on.
When he gets drunk and starts singing that damn song it's always my cue to leave camp and go hunting.
Iii wailllll down the whisskkeyyyyy 🤣
Swanson is Dutch's Friar Tuck.
He was under utilized like many others in the story. I didn't think he was annoying except for when he would sing about breaking his knob.
If I lived in that era I would have had the same addictions as he does so I can't judge the man
no way this guy isnt popular, his videos are so good!!
Thank you!

Can you do a video on Josiah Trelawny
It was because his face was as red as a lobster and he began to tumble and roar
I wanted to let him die on the tracks but the game didn’t 🤣
He’s a heroine junkie how use full can he be besides getting drugs 😭😭😭
I personally thought Swanson was kinda funny I didn’t mind his uselessness
dude idk i loved the dude
Yeah theres like 8010200299299199199192992 characters in Rdr2

All of the evidence is there 👀
