RDR2 A Lesson on Taking Your Darn Time

- RDR2 will go down as one of, if not the greatest game of all time for me. The game as a whole has so much to gain from it and it simply can't be matched on quality and attention to detail. However, what makes this game stand out to me was playing it at a certain point in my life, and taking away a lot of the messages within it.
I hope you enjoy the video.
i love hunting , fishing , collecting plants and flowers , going to the trapper , dressing arthur up in different styles , going to the theatre , pissing off local folk , watching sunsets and sunrise on a mountain top and every other beautiful thing in this game. You can truly live in this game and experince it like no other
The sheer amount of optional content is insane. You know on my first playthrough I literally did no hunting or done any of the challenges and camp requests. Just done the main missions, and man what a waste but at the same time I get to experience it all now for the first time. RDR2 is king. Thanks for watching :)
@ yeah same here , i still did lots of exploration on my first playthrough but now on my 4th i’m attempting 100% completion and actually seeing everything in the game. It baffles me how the devs came up with all thr little details in the game , details that i couldn’t come up with in a whole life time. Truly an OPEN WORLD game to actually immerse yourself into. A lot of games have the open world title but how many of them truly are is very few
@@kidkrazen this game is a masterpiece. I wish I could afford a PS5 Pro to play it on and to have for when GTA 6 comes out. My goal is to get one and just play THIS game to pass the time until 6 comes out!
Me too! Like 45% of my 100% playtrought was just stoping to smell the flowers. The other 55% was doing those damm challenges!
why are all the good youtubers so underrated? honestly though this quality of content deserves more.
Thanks man! I do this as a fun little hobby, so that really means a lot to me :)
I love this game 56 year old woman here am currently in my 7th playthrough in story mode and play online everyday love to explore the map I am at 98% my favorite Arthur camp is by window rock up in the mountains listening to the water and the wind through the trees had Arthur at that site for 5 in game days and read his whole journal
The ambience in RDR2 is unmatched, good to see others appreciate it for what it is. Thanks for watching :)
I love that thank you for enjoying RDR 2. I'm 40 but I love this game I love westerns. I really only play this game I deal with motion sickness so this is the only game series I will deal with the sickness to play.
This is exactly what I loved so much about this game. I got so immersed in the hunting and camping that I was 90 hours in before I progressed the story into the 3rd chapter.
Too relatable hahaha, I truly believe I will never finish my second playthrough at this rate lol. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment :)
I played it when I was 18 my life fell apart and so I couldn’t appreciate it at the time and for 6 years I was getting my life together and getting better, and now in 2024 I’m 24 and far better mentally than I was and I played the game again and now fully appreciate everything in it it’s a super deep written game and world it’s literally the best game ever made
Also it’s written by Scottish people too must make you feel proud of them
Hearing how much time has past between both of our playthroughs is interesting. As for us both, we went back into the crazy world with completely different world views and perspectives as to our old selves. Didn't even really think about it that way, but that for sure was a huge impact on this how this game made me feel the second time around. I'm glad to hear your at a better place in your life, I wish you all the best :)
So glad to hear you're in a better place now. ❤ and you're so right, the game feels completely different depending on what your frame of mind is. Wishing you all the best.
I feel you all too well brother. That game hit home with a lot of quotes on my first playthrough. Might even say it was very reasuring and therapeutic. I have also developed a deep love and excitment for camping. Luckily I have a great bunch of like minded folk around me, camping with friends is the best. All the best Kieran!
The game is an experience more than anything else imo. Glad to hear you've took up camping man, stay safe out there and take some time to slow down. Thank you :)
Red Dead 2 has a sense of what the japanese call Ma or a pause in time, an interval or emptiness in space. Ma is the time and space life needs to breath, to feel and connect. If we have no time, if our space is restricted, we cannot grow. This universal principle applies to every aspect of life.
Love this, that perfectly encapsulates a game like RDR2, a time to slow down from the madness. Thanks for sharing that man :)
@@KieranMcNiven I wish more games had this. Not many games let you sit on a cliff and contemplate your existence.
I can NOT believe that you only have 200 subs… and I’m so grateful that the algorithm suggested this video. I absolutely just LOVE the opening of your video and the whole thing in general. “Have I been a terrible fool, Arthur?“ i don’t know, I don’t know enough about it…. But one thing I do know… there ain’t no shame in looking for a better world.” Thank you for this, this is EXACTLY what I needed to see at EXACTLY the right time
PS.. the look on Arthur’s face when Mary says he’ll never change just CRUSHES me… and he definitely proves her wrong in the end 😢 RIP Arthur Morgan
I'm really happy to hear this man, I enjoy the idea of opening all my videos with a cinematic approach, using clips that are relevant to the points I'm going to make. I'm glad you found something useful from this video brother :)
It’s not just a game, it’s an experience. One of the best I’ve had. The second playthru as well. It’s much like the internet (well the good part of it) where you can visit another place in the world or meet someone you otherwise wouldn’t have known. Vicariously living a cowboys life for a short time made me nostalgic for a life I didn’t live. Some things can’t be faked, you’re a good man cowpoke.
An experience that gives us a perspective on life that many might never face, the scary reality of making a change, but also the even scarier reality of not. Thanks for the kind words, all the best to you :)
Hey, brother. I'm glad this video popped up in my recommended. Your words definitely spoke to me and got through to me. Slowing down is such an important aspect of life so that we can truly see the world around us. Some of your words truly made me tear up. Amazing video. No one ever really has things figured out. RDR2 gave me a sense of morality and mortality. I was just graduated from high school when I played. It didn't properly hit me until a second playthrough. I had done overnight hikes with my father and uncle and their friends. But once I soaked in RDR2 in its entirety, being out in nature was a healing experience. Being out there and realizing the luxuries of modern life is a shock, but welcoming. Being thankful for clean water, warm food, beautiful views. It truly changes you to the core. I've stared at the sightlines and just felt overwhelmed by the simplistic beauty of the world.
As you've said, in layman's terms, your value is not determined by certain hobbies or lifestyles, but by those who make memories with you and treasure the experiences you make with them. Fuck wealth and status, memories are what matters most. That's what gets passed down. Not how much money you made or what status you had. It's what type of man/woman you were. z
RDR2 has made me start going out into nature more, find my own path and happiness in life. Despite your failures, you can always improve and change. You are never too old to change your ways.
Thank you for this video, once again. I really appreciate the man-to-man talk. It has helped me immensely. I am not a religious man, but I hope that you are blessed in sort of way. You are down to earth and truthful to yourself. I truly wish the best for you. Best wishes for you. Please take care of yourself. I have subbed, I truly look forward to your future content. Much love, partner.
P.S. If you ever have questions about overnight hiking in terms of gear the weight you carry, please let me know (as well as anyone else). Me and my old man have some experience and can give some sound advice. Much love to everyone who reads this. May you all prosper in life. (I'm sorry for this drunken comment.)
This comment is a gem to me brother. Hearing people say they needed to hear what I say fills me oddly enough, with a feeling of imposter syndrome, but again I could take my own advice and recognise that we all never truly have it all figured out.
As you said, life is about the important experiences we have, the trips with your father is something you'll never forget, and in turn, you'll no doubt have experiences with others, be it with friends or even children if that's something that you would want, that will be directly passed down from those times spent with your father. That is the essence of life, not wealth and status.
Thank you for your blessings, and I hope the same for you. If I'm ever in need for guidance for hikes and such I will for sure seek it from you, I'm still inexperienced in this game so anything I can soak up would be great. Thanks for watching, commenting and subbing, more is on the way soon, took a nice break over the holidays and I'm eager to make content again :)
I just finished this game for the first time and it changed my life. My husband was a rancher, a combat veteran and an outdoorsman. Arthur reminded me of him and the sacrifices he makes for everyone around him. I want to be more present, and stronger for him.
Your husband sounds likes he's one hell of a man! Love that RDR2 brought you some purpose in that regard :)
On my second playthrough, I didn't read arthurs journal until the epilogue. For a more emotionally immersive playthrough, Id recommend anyone play it this way. Both yourself and John get to look back on him fondly while traversing the same ground he walked on with his own commentary as accompanyment
That's a very interesting idea actually, kind of mad I didn't do that on my first playthrough lol. Thanks for watching :)
That’s such a beautiful idea. But I think it would make me cry too much lol.
coming back to this video once I've fully completed my first playthrough. Like to remind me every so often.
It'll be waiting for you :) Thank you for watching!
It's so worth it man, you'll have to let us know what you think about it.
A great video about a great game. Thank you! Your reflections on gratitude after camping reminds me of what a character, Gus McCrae, says in 'Lonesome Dove' - 'Lorie darlin', life in San Francisco, you see, is still just life. If you want any one thing too badly, it's likely to turn out to be a disappointment. The only healthy way to live life is to learn to like all the little everyday things, like a sip of good whiskey in the evening, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk, or a feisty gentleman like myself.'
That quote puts it nicely, enjoy the little parts of everyday life, it's the way to unlock true happiness. Thanks for watching and sharing that quote :)
Man I just spent a few days out deer hunting and exploring. It was 16 degrees outside and what you said about 48 hours of luxury when you got back is so spot on.
I guess that’s be -9 degrees c
@@olddominionoutfitters1272 Wow! I couldn't even imagine how cold that is, and that's coming from a Scot! Hope you are enjoying the luxuries of life after all of that. Funnily enough, it works the other way too. Life becomes too accessible so you just want to cut down some firewood and get primal lol. Thanks for watching :)
Just started playing this game and I think it’s the start of my era of playing more single player games as opposed to playing tons of online multiplayer I really really like just riding around the world on my horsey
Ghost of Tsushima is a good one in a similar vein. RDR2 is number one and ghost is number 2 to me.
Oh absolutely, I for one have mostly stopped all multiplayer games and spend most my time in single player or co-op style games. Traversing the world of RDR2 on our 4 legged friends couldn't be any better. Thanks for watching :)
Oh man, this game has so many life lessons to live by. I don't know if those lessons were unintentional or developers knew what they were doing but theres so much to be learnt from this game and Arthur morgan. Every character lowkey has a meaningful lesson.
Exactly that, if I was to take anything away from the character of Arthur Morgan, it's to not let pride and shame get in the way of making a meaningful change in your life. Thanks for watching man, appreciate the comment :)
This made me tear up thinking about my own situation right now. I (F23) have been jobless for a few months now, really doubting what to do. Working, studying or going to different countries. It's soothing to see other people in their 20's have difficulty too with their path. Sometimes I feel hopeless, but this video made me a bit hopefull again. Haven't been outside for a few days now. I'll try to go to some nature tomorrow, that'll be good for me.
So glad to hear this resonated with you, I hope life starts to get better from here. Good luck and thanks for watching :)
Great video! This game was an amazing experience that I wish I could experience once again for the first time. Each playthrough is great but it's never like the first one.
100% agreed. If I were told I could experience one video game again for the first time, it'll probably be RDR2. Thank you for watching man :)
Hey Kieran, this was a beautiful insight, not just into RDR2, but life itself. RDR2 came out when I was 18 and I'm still playing it to this day at 24, and so much change has occurred since then for myself. All the best to you and yours! Arthur Morgan is vulnerable inside, and I came to a lot of realisations since I concluded on his story many years ago.
Beautiful comment man, I appreciate your kind words. All the best to you man, when life gets crazy, remember you can always slow down and take your time. Thank you for watching :)
This is a great video man. Rdr2 has so many great stories and quotes. My favorites was from rain falls. When he tries to stop his son from going to battle, he say something along the lines of “the world that those men came from(eagle flies n his men) is a world we cannot endure, but endure we must, the earth the water they have no pride. They endure. We must endure.”
What a great video! New subscriber here. ❤ and you're so right, this game is an immersive experience like no other. I only finished it for the first time last week and it has changed me. I loved how beautiful and realistic all the scenery was straight away and absolutely fell in love with the free play aspect. Just hunting, fishing, camping, going anywhere I liked, it felt so freeing. But then as the story progressed, especially when Arthur got his diagnosis, it took me completely for a loop. I was devastated! I have never cried over a fictional character before, but I'd been playing the game for at least 6 months by then and I feel like we got to know Arthur deeply by the time we lost him. Something in me has changed, I feel Arthur has taught me to be braver somehow. I don't know if we'll ever get another game like this, it is a masterpiece from start to finish. ❤
PS, love your accent btw! You are incredibly easy to listen to. 😍
It’s take lots of strength to show vulnerability. Loved the video. Glad this was how I was introduced to your channel
Welcome to the channel! It was a huge goal of mine to allow myself to be vulnerable and this channel is sort of that outlet for me. Thanks for watching :)
currently on my first playthrough and i just finished chapter 2. im taking my time and exploring and i have a sentimental connection with my horse even though its fake. I at first thought the game would be good but never believed the amount of praise it got. Now while playing for the first time, I'm not even close to finishing and its already one of my favorite games of all time.
I also wanted to say thank you very much for this video. this has become one of my favorite videos of all time now and i have struggled a lot with being hard on myself and thinking I'm not good enough for the world and even though I'm 19 i tell myself i need to have it all figured out. When you talked about worthiness it really opened my eyes. Thank you, you earned a subscriber.
Glad you're enjoying the game! It's one heck of a ride (pun intended).
And hey man, you sound a lot like me when I was 19, hell looking back the amount of growth I've went through is incredible, but when you're in the moment you don't appreciate how far you've come. Take it from me brother, life is a roller-coaster, we can get so caught up in this success driven world we live in right now. Taking the time to appreciate the small things in life is what made me overcome this feeling of being unworthy. Getting out in nature, feeling gratitude for everything around me and slowing down is what aligns with me, and I hope that it can for you too. Thank you for your lovely comment :)
@@KieranMcNiven thank you, brother ❤
Randomly washed up here through recommendations, what a nice and wholesome video, thank you.
The talk of valuing yourself for who you're is something I struggle with myself still, my mind understands how it's supposed to be, but emotionally? Or maybe spiritually? Not there yet.
Also, the talk of memories at the deathbed, in the context of RDR2, reminds me of how Arthur transforms as a person in the second half of the game, reflecting on the past and trying to make the world... a better place with the little time he has left. Sad, beautiful and inspiring.
Totally understand your position man, I myself have walked in those shoes, in fact I showed my girlfriend this comment and she too understands this. We can understand the idea of feeling valued and having that inner peace, but to reach out and grab it seems impossible. Take it from me man, two years ago I grabbed a hold of this image of worthiness, and every other day where I felt behind, or like I was slacking... I was a waste of space. But, on the days were I would get a win, show up to training, post "wins" on social media to see the likes or whatever it was, then I was in a good place. That is simply no way to live, and I understand that now more than ever. To walk around on this world and feel no shame in who you are now is what counts. I hope you will find that one day, I really do man. Thanks for watching, and be like Arthur :)
@@KieranMcNiven "To walk around on this world and feel no shame in who you are now is what counts." Beautifully said, will try to remind myself of it and work towards that. Thank you again, much love.
This video is a diamond in the rough. I’m so glad that I found this thing. I now want to go camping because of how butiful this video is
Brother don't wait, get out there and camp away! There's is nothing like spending time in wilderness and having what I call "an appreciation reset" to put everything in your life into perspective :)
Here’s to our partners in this life, and the love they give.
When you find the right one, you know. Cheers to them :)
She sounds like an amazing person, Kieran. Keep her close.
On a related note, I'm doing my second playthrough very very slowly but last night I "had to" leave Chapter 4 'cause there wasn't something else to do and the moment "Unshaken" started playing I immediately regretted never staying in Chapter 4 forever...
Nice video, buddy. :)
She's the best
welcome to the algorithm bro
damn, i need to replay this game
Thank you for having me algorithm lol.
Get it played, unreal game. Thanks for watching :)
@@KieranMcNiven great video! and i did. you convinced me lol. feels good seeing that rat in jail again 🤣

Beautiful man, brilliant wisdom and sense of perspective. Love you bro ❤
Hope you enjoyed brother. Ain't no shame in looking for a better world.
Lovely video!
Rdr2 really is a game that can touch peoples hearts effortlessly. Especially if you take your time..
I always saw a lot of people hating it because of its very slow pace, but maybe we all just need to take our time to enjoy it. Thanks for watching! :)
Beautiful video, i can tell just how much thought and care went into it with your wise way of speaking, also a big thanks for the words at the end because I really needed tae hear that. Good work and lots of love!
This comment is so nice man! It literally has put a big smile on my face to see I resonated with you on some level. Keep being you man :)
actual jump scare at the end , you do still have it.
Beautiful work pal ❤
Kung Fu in the garage?
Thanks for watching man, love you
@ you too x
Damn, I forgot about the cinematic camera. I love riding everywhere manually, never get tired of it
Fast travellers are not the way
My first playthrough, I rushed through the game because the story at that point just couldn't be ignored. The next two times, I took my time. I did every little thing I could possibly do before the epilogue. I got 100% both times. I got so immersed into the world that it became my primary life for awhile.
The continual increase in quality of each video you release is commendable - exceptional work
Keep chipping away at it and slowly learning, taking my time you could say lol. Appreciate the kind words man, thanks for watching yet again :)
Great video bro, this game is captivating and has been in my top 5 of all time
Easily one of, if not the greatest game ever made. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Hey, thanks for this video. It’s truly amazing, man. I hope you have a great year ahead. I feel like I really needed to hear all this.
Appreciate the comment man, I love hearing about people who take something away from what I say. Wish you all the best my friend :)
@@KieranMcNiven, thanks, mate, and wish you the best too! ^_^
This game is changing the way i live my life. In a positive manner
The beauty of media, we can always take away something from fiction, and apply it to ourselves.
RDR2, like that campfire, has the ability to reset your perspective. It’s magic in that way. True art. Kieran, men need more examples of strength through vulnerability. I’m subscribed. Keep doing you, man. You’re an Arthur. ❤
Don't know if you realise how much a comment like this means to me, but man it means a whole lot. Thank you so much for watching :)
Wonderful video. I once heard something that stuck with me regarding camping and "core memories": Just try to remember what you did at work two weeks ago, or what game you played or what party you were at. Most likely, you won't be able to. However you probably remember every single minute of your last camping trip, even if it was two years ago. And that is why just sitting round a fire, making some food and having a good chat with your mates is so important for us.
To me it's grounding in a way, especially in our modern, fast and superficial world. People have always been able to do it, and hopefully will always be able to. Whatever happens in my life, wether it's shit or going great, I can always sit down by the fire.
Great perspective! That's so true about remembering every moment of the camp, some solid core memories in there that will always stick by me. Sitting by a fire and living outside of my comfort zone during it gave me so much to learn and reflect from. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Underrated gem, beautifully made video, you rock!
You rock man! Thank you so much for watching :)
@@KieranMcNiven Of course! Your story and take on life is so inspiring and has opened up my mind about who I want to be. Work of art to put it simple!
Lovely video, thanks. In all the games that I enjoy tremendously, it tends to be the little things that keep me coming back as well .... the things that allow you to immerse yourself in that world in some way (regardless of the historical era, geographical location, or genre involved). Sitting by a crackling fire has a special resonance, I think, for all of us -- because it is so earthy and primordial. It's not just RDR2 that captures this well, in my view -- but a lot of very different games that I also enjoy. Probably one of my favourites is The Long Dark -- but it has a very different feel, because it is a game of solitude. Fire is life in the Long Dark in a way that is very real, perhaps more than any other game I've played. But certainly the campfires and wilderness in RDR2, Outward, the Long Dark, Conan Exiles, and many other games can capture a feeling of immersion that triggers associations with both real and literary wilderness adventures. I spend a lot of time in what is sometimes called "the Canadian Shield" (a place of water, granite, and forest in northwest Ontario). When I am enjoying a crackling fire in a video game, it is always a pale shadow of the real fires in my own memory, and in anticipation of future ones.
That's exactly it, it's incredible that pixels on a screen, audio design and a handful of other creative methods can give us so much peace, or at least enough till we are back outdoors experiencing it for real. Also The Long Dark is on my list of games I want to play, maybe one day if I enjoy it I will make a video on that too. Thanks for watching and all the best :)
Absolutely love this video, very wise words i needed to hear (the blurring effect was kinda distracting me tho)
Thanks for watching my man! Appreciate the feedback too, was looking into different filming styles and thought I'd try a cinematic type look but I see what you mean. Thanks again :)
Phenomenal Video!
The Lack of Notoriety is criminal.
Appreciate the kind words friend! Thanks for watching :)
Arthur was constantly at war with his baser instinct. It was an amazing progression. I took my time as I always do, knowing it’s the journey and not the destination that’s important. It’s amazing what you learn when you don’t keep the conclusion front and center sir. 🫡
Loved his progression throughout the game, but his story in between the chaos is where he shines imo. Thanks for watching :)
Wow this reminds me of a different video by another lovely youtuber I love that goes by timmm, his video is also titled Red Dead & The art of taking your sweet time.
Great video! Subbed and gonna check some other stuff out!
Looked him up after this comment and his content is really cool! Thank you so much for the sub, means a lot man. More to come real soon :)
wow, what you were saying about the campfire was awesome, thats all very true. it does put things into perspective, and it adds a whole new layer to an activity that may otherwise appear rather mundane. im sure theres many more tasks that highlight that same idea but the campfire was a good example
Living out in the wilderness and having a lifeline like a campfire. Knowing the consequence if it went out in a freezing cold night just made me have so much sympathy for people who don't have basic needs, like heat. Crazy that a game, and the hobby I gained from that game, invited all of these thoughts. Hope you're well, thanks for watching :)
ive had 4 ps4s eachone just for this game i always come back too it
If any game deserved being owned across multiple platforms, it's RDR2 :)
@@KieranMcNiven 💯 % escape from reality

Upgrading camp and getting all the satchel’s for Arthur and doing all the challenges. It’s so much to do in this game😂 and I love it. I’m looking forward to watch your future videos. Regardless if it’s about RDR2 or other stuff 🤠

How can you NOT sub to this? Thanks, YT algorithm.
I appreciate the sub! Glad you enjoyed, more is on the way :)
Nice vid. Thanks for getting the word out. I''ve been a day 1 player on console, and RDR2 has been my game since I put down GTA Online six years ago. Not really meaning to promo my own channel, but I've been working on a play through there, with a very chill Arthur, because a lot of the RDR2 vids I see seem to be obsessed with constantly sprinting, galloping and psychopathic murder and rushing to the end of Chapter 6, which I think really cheapens the game. I've currently been working at it for over 2 years, and just now getting to the last part of Chapter 2 with 200 game day episodes so far, and many of them without a virtual homicide. I find the challenge of the game is to play it such that murder is to be avoid except with necessary, instead of finding a reason or no reason at all to shoot somebody. The former requires a lot more problem-solving skills.
BTW, I think the story mode of the game was really designed for play throughs, not getting to the end and sprinting and galloping around and admiring a fat bank with nothing to spend it on (other than paying for your crimes).
Love this, and I love the fact you have found a cool way for content creation through RDR2. Taking your time while going through its amazing story is something requires a lot of patience but man is it worth it. Thank you for watching and leaving this comment. All the best to you :)
Please make more videos, I can’t believe you only have 200 subscribers 😭😭
New video is being made as we speak! Thank you for watching! :)
I wish this game just kept expanding in territory.
One can only hope :)
I only did the quest line until I got the stables then it became an open world game. I wish there was more to get lost in but what there is to it is very good.
Truly one of the games of all time. Thanks for watching man :)

I know i know Arthur Morgan isn't a real person but.... fuck man i miss him 😢
Me too brother... me too.
I genuinely feel sad for all the people who couldn't get into this game lol. Hands down, THE greatest game ever made. If there was ever a literally perfect video game, Red Dead Redemption 2 would be closest to that. Not perfect ofc cause no game can be, but this is the closest to perfection any game has ever been.
With a game like RDR2 it seems that maybe people need to wait till a certain point in their life to appreciate it for what it is. Give them time and it will happen. Thanks for watching :)
The only limits to this game are the boundaries of your imagination . . . . players who complete all the missions and say 'I beat the game' haven't even scratched the surface, even after you complete 100%, that's still only a fraction of what the world has to offer.
Taking your time to experience and explore everything can take hours, many thousands of hours..
You can say that again, I reckon I'll be in chapter 4 till the end of the year haha. Thanks for watching man! :)
This is the way
Thank you brother :)
Amazing
Thanks for watching!
How did it feel having a name similar to a character in the gang? Thoughts on Sean?
Poor Sean, just a kid man, didn't deserve that. Not gonna lie seeing my name in the game was cool, it's a popular name here in Scotland but in terms of mainstream it's not common lol. Unfortunate it had to be that character lol, poor guy
@BadgerMcNiven yeah I really liked Kieran in the game bad business what happens to him
What horse is that by the way its got quite the hind honcher on it😅 but it doesnt look like an ardennes or shire. I dont remember the white kentucky saddlers being that big.
I'm sure I got this one for free in stables, might've been a pre-order bonus lol
Nooo! That sad piece of meat! Forever gone to the fire 😂
Gone but not forgotten 😞
I cant believe how a game with so little going on but hunting and fishing( which is oddly fun) and just enjoying the quiet nature ambience with a guitar medley here or there can be so breathtaking. I cant describe it. On paper i shoukd hate this game it sounds incredibly boring but when in the hands its just an "experience"
Fully agree with this, but the fact it has all of that, and one of best stories and characters ever on top of it is just incredible. It's without a doubt in my mind the greatest game ever made, with Halo 3 being just behind it lol. Thank you for watching :)

@@KieranMcNivenEven worse knowing that Colm would’ve kept him alive when gouging out his eyes. This game really touched on some of the darkest stuff but that’s what makes it so good. It makes it raw.
Whats the intro song
It's "Lonesome Town" in the RDR2 OST
Can someone please tell me the song used in the beginning?

@ thanks
I honestly CANNOT play this game on ps4 right now. My life is in a bad spot, im in a 0lace and around people i do not like, and this gsme reauires patience and immersion. The horse barely moves im sooooo slow and you physically cant aim or survive gunfights with controller. So im gonna have to put this on hold untill my life is remotely together and i have a PC do i can actually shoot.
Hope life starts to improve for you man, we all get situations like that. Hell I was there a few years ago, it's kind of a cliché but, life just has a way of sorting it all out. Keep going and pick up wisdom as you go, it gives you perspective. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment :)
@BadgerMcNiven it really doesnt tho. For instance i just lost another job after searching fors full time almost 2 years, only working a 2 day a week part time for a couple months and one other horrendous job for a few weeks. now at this new place this guy said everything was good said i could leave in like the summers, seasonal cook work. I signed on and in less than a week after he was replacing me behind my back and a couple days later guy fired me
now if i hadnt made ONE connection id be homeles in a Canadian winter and still might be in a few weeks, snd i have no money and ZERO job offers even tho im begging for work at this point.
So thanks, but no, things dont work outz you literally cant trust anyone. If your parents didnt help you till your 25 and you dont drink then you cant survive in this world apparently, ive been stuck homeless on and off struggling for work since 2019, and now i have medical problems i cant afford.
