Great content as always, really enjoy the fact you play the game exactly how you want, and give some tips along the way. And then its always fun seeing the comments of people telling you ‘isk/hr in HS sucks’, as if you didnt know and havent already demonstrated multiple gameplay loops 😂 Keep fighting the good fight, EVE is for personal goals & enjoyment.
Gaming is full of gatekeepers, I just ignore them. Not everyone wants to be status quo or “meta”
My habbit;
- Sit hulks keep at range 1000m
- Each hulk is dedicated to a type of roid to keep management easier and minimise crossing the stream (never cross the streams)
- Shift Click the holds open so I have only the mining hold and fleet hanger open, smaller windows
- Keep all UI elements in a smaller area to minimise mouse movement
- EVE-O-Preview with Hotkeys setup to help with rotation between clients
As someone else mentioned, use the overview to seperate out the types, given you can also now have several overview windows you can do this and still keep an eye on your local space now days like you've done in the video (though kept it simple for the videos purpose).

What's a roid and stream?
I love me some mining in Eve. It's an activity that you can log in and just get stuck into right away, no running around looking for things to do. I've seen people do their own mining fleet operations, and I've been in a couple of large mining operations, but I've not seen a video demonstrating the individual fleet like this. I have a new goal. Get into an Orca and start training up a few alpha's to eventually bring on board for my own mining fleet! Nice video!
I have 5 hulks + 1 orca, with max mining talents + implants I'm at 35.8m²/sec with 4 hulks and the 5th is at 38.9m²/sec + mining drones. I am able to do the 6 belts of my favorite system in 6 hours or less. 600M in HS. Add to that a well-functioning planetary system that gives me 1B per week and I'm fine, no need to go to null.
In 0.5 or higher? And on regular belts right?
@@fatiguejras in 0.7 (Rairomon) the stellar observatory effect gives me 10% more mining.
600m in HS, in 6 hours with 6 accounts? That's doesn't sound that lucrative.

Setup up overview filters, 1 for each rock type, then, 1 hulk on Scordite / 1 hulk on pyroxeres / 1 hulk on closest Veldspar / 1 hulk on furthest veldspar... No waste from lasers, max yield, and if you place orca in middle of horseshoe, hulks will strip entire belt without moving.
It worked like that 7 years ago, and still works today, max yield FTW ;P

1) where are you mining ? High, low or null sec ?
2) isn’t it better to mine while moving to be able to insta warp and avoid gankers ?
3) how do you have the display to show white dots underneath each asteroid ?
1. All, Including WH space and trig space. (In This Video, HS)
2. Drag mining helps (more for fleet mining in high risk areas) I don't have issues in HS.
3. Tactical Overlay.

Watching episode 26 at the moment. I am a miner with orca and 4 hulks as well. Mining in high sec. I am just curious why you are mining with lvl1 miners without crystals? I use lvl2 miners with crystals and get about 2 mil ISK a minute with my current setup. Still improving some of my accounts so my income will slowly increase in time. But it is nice to see you mine. A tip i read in the comments is indeed mine one sort of ore with each account so you will not have dubble, or tripple miners at one rock. You will see that it increases your income since you have no lack (such a shame to have 4 miners on a rock and 3 of them wasted a cycle).
I mine but not on that scale. Just three Procurers for now. Do you mine for a corp, or do you solo and sale the ore? Do you manufacture? Just curious. I subbed earlier, and have picked up a bit from your content. Thanks.

If you put the orca in the middle of the belt you dont have to move if you have at least lvl 4 skills and mining forman mindlink aug mining drone start at 10km and work the way in hulks start at each end of the belt work your way to orca works very well

I know you are using T1 strips, is that so you dont need to worry about crystals from using T2's? I know some people don't like to worry about managing crystals and also the residue making the rocks go away faster as well so they never bother, but the amount of extra ore you suck in can be worth it.
Basically, and some alts don't have the skills yet & I like to keep everyone the same.
@@JAKEL33T Could go the bling bling route and get some ORE miners. I switched one of my macks to it and it feels kind of cool. Yield is in between A1 and A2 crystals which isnt bad at all. No more faffing around with crystals (they have their costs as well) and no more residue. Which doesnt really matter in some cases but i quite like it.
@@atlantahotmail the lack of residue is really nice for high value stuff like R64 and R32 moon ore.

Possibly, OREs are really effective for anomalies considering the range. The only reason I didn’t use T2s is not all alts have simple ore reprocessing 4 yet.

one time back in 2016 i think i mined an entire belt with just one hulk, dont remember how long it took but im pretty sure it was a while

would you do a video on ice mining with this comp, would like to see the difference, and you're using t1 strips rather than t2 as im assuming some of your toons aren't trained into crystals yet.
I run faction harvesters for ice, they are the best. I have a few videos covering ice fits and fleet ice mining.
It's cool but ~60m /hr for a ~3+ bil investment is insane. That's 50 hours of mining to break even. Not to mention the accounts and skills that you would need. Compare that to T6 abyss w/ retributions or hawks which makes 800m-1.2b per hour with a 300m setup.
Abyssals have some of the highest risk/hr. Nothing really compares.
I once saw a bunch of mult omega boxing vids where a guy had "Picture in picture windows" in their main how does someone set up that kind of program to switch from that screen to there and back to their main

You should give pochven a go in a expedition frigate. With an endurance and a deepcore mining laser I get about 30 mil every 20 min mining benzadine
I’ve had an alt in trig space for over a year, just haven’t done much content over it.
Ever considered using Eve-O Preview? You can check every client in a small window, saves allot of time searching alt tab for the "asteroid depleted" client since u can see wich one it is.
Im not alt tabbing, I’m cycling through clients with eve client switcher. I don’t like eve-o the low fps for the preview windows annoys me.

With an orca you can stash your hulk into the orca's ship maintenance bay really quick. Sure, you can only fit 2 in there but it's better than nothing.

Bro this is useful and educational (upvoted). That said, if my math is right, if you stick to doing high sec ores it will take north of 202 hours just to cover the 5 OMEGAS without even taking into account return on investment on your capital as well as supplies and replacement costs even just for lost drones, much less actual hull losses.
That’s if the alts only mine, my alts can also do PI, ratting & hacking so they don’t need to mine crazy hours to cover their omegas.

Listen dont waste your time with belts unless your by yourself. Just setup stru for moon mining in 0.5 systems. Setup 6 or so and your golden for each day. Each day you can moon mine with your friends as it's worth way more and forget nullsec :) as it's like it with so many moons to mine up.
Tried that, kept getting war decced by griefer corps.
It is a pain to mine as beginner, having a compressor while mining is so good, i have to jump back to base to unload.
Get a porpoise it will change your life as a beginner. Dedicate a alt for it.

i mine alone, 1 purpoise, 6 covetors , 1 hulk, yesterday i just farm 722 mill in null sec xD
I use 2 macks, 5 retrievers and 1 corvax.
1 mack + 5 retrievers do the mining
1 mack plays as a cargo ship going up and down to home base to store it all
The corvax i "protect" my fleet with
All in high sec and made 600m.
I wouldnt dare nullsec with this xD

I use a rorqual and hulks for ice, moon and merc in NS. Works just fine only difference is I usually drag mine.

I prefer moon mining in null, it’s not really worth it for me to drop a refinery in HS to mine moons as a single heartbeat corp.
