I came to a conclusion after listining over & over again, that this version was indeed the best, thep ianist/organist was awesome eps. the 2:58 to3:11, its sooo good, thank you Kevin Wallace👍
That second part of the song sounds like a mixture of smooth jazz with bossa nova. Very relaxing. I picture myself on a beach in the caribbean when I listen to that portion.
Just saw them back in June. He always sounds exactly the same in this song and others. That's rare from groups that have been around for 40 years like them. This is the best happy feel good music around. I hope to see them again as long as they keep coming around in concert. Thanks for the video.
I posted this exact same video but unfortunately UA-cam took it down sometime ago I was at that actual concert and I was absolutely blown away and devastated by Philip Bailey's vocal register! He and a very few slim performers out there have what is called the whistle register in their voice. Simply mean that they can hit extremely high pitched notes. Only a rare handful of people in the world can do that. Thank you God for a creating this man with the absolutely incredible voice that will live on now and into the future

My wife and I (36 years) recently were in a E W&F concert. You just can't find better live acts like this. Perhaps TOP and McCartney are in the same stratosphere. This band is in a place of its own A Legend.
Yeah, that sax player is mediocre at best... He'd be better off copying Don Myrick's solo since his own ideas are boring & not hip at all. And sorry to say it buy Phillip's voice is just too damaged these days. He shouldn't be doing that schtick on "REASONS" anymore. Back in the '70s/'80s there was no one better -- He's one of my main influences as a singer but even his melody choices here are nothing to write home about.
