This woman is incredibly underrated. In my opinion she is one of the most talented female vocalists of our lifetime. Her range, tone and intensity is made up of pure perfection. I have loved her since 2007.
She’s definitely incredibly talented, and doesn’t have to be called a female vocalist, but a talented vocalist. But if we stick to the topic of female, she’s def up there with Evanescence and Chelsea Wolfe!
She is , but it's lowkey by choice. She's had so many people request her to be their chorus but she says no because she just loves Paramore. I think that makes hayley so much better

Everyone always compliments her voice, can we just take a second to appreciate that she's been writing consistently great music for the better part of two decades now? and she is just never stuck, she'll explore different genres and styles and keep coming up with great music out of those experiments.

Hayley Williams is my hero. I love the improvisation in Dead Horse, she really told him! Haha. And can we just appreciate the fact that this woman consistently sounds better live than her records? That's called being a professional. Something always goes awry while playing live. Professionals adapt and do it smooth enough where most of the audience doesn't even notice.

I was searching for NPR Tiny Desk Paramore and was suggested for this. So I got 2 Tiny Desk by Hayley William, I am so glad of this. Wish there is more. Since Petals for Armors Hayley has another album and Paramore has a new Album. I think it's time to invite them again, I am ecstatic they choose to sing Dead Horse, I wish Hayley blurted out the "Alright, it took me three days to send you this, but uh, sorry, I was in a depression but I'm trying to come out of it now". I am too used to listening this whenever Dead Horse begins.
Petals for Armor and Flowers for Vases are amazing albums all the way through. I was never a fan of Paramore until After Laughter, but her self titled albums are my favorite. Can't wait to hear what she does with Paramore after this if they ever make another album.

Im not sure what that was but I’d say it was incredible. Was like a jazz funk rock - really unique and her singing was pretty crazy. Everyone seem like they had a good time- great band - was cool to see Julian Baker play with her
To be fair, she's not doing much playing. She's playing a couple of notes, and a couple of chords in an occasional harmonic riff. The guitar is lonely most of the song, but it is a pretty guitar nontheless!

I am to the point now that I have listened to this version of Dead Horse so much more than the album version. Listening to PFA this morning I noticed how much slower the tempo is on record. I love them both, but seeing Hayley so immersed in that song and the lyrics in this version with this band is just stellar.
I think it has to do with marketing. Music is a business after all, but of course, the goal here for her was to share something personal rather than bust out of the gate very commercialized.

To be fair, she's not doing much playing. She's playing a couple of notes, and a couple of chords in an occasional harmonic riff. The guitar is lonely most of the song, but it is a pretty guitar nontheless!

I am to the point now that I have listened to this version of Dead Horse so much more than the album version. Listening to PFA this morning I noticed how much slower the tempo is on record. I love them both, but seeing Hayley so immersed in that song and the lyrics in this version with this band is just stellar.
The amount of people that love Paramore but won’t give her album a try it’s criminal!
I think it has to do with marketing. Music is a business after all, but of course, the goal here for her was to share something personal rather than bust out of the gate very commercialized.
