I was watching Vic Grip Garage the other night and, BAM, up comes a genuine Puddin’ O’Riley ad, it was a hoot!
Gotta love Mondays when Puddin posts some good wholesome entertainment! Hotrod nearly stole the show with her antics. Love it when she drops in to help her Papa!
I normally watch vice grip garage and a few others and stumbled upon this channel a few months ago and glad I did. The channels that bring their own personalities instead of hey I'm working on a car are such a good addition. Hopefully this channel continues to grow.

I start watching Derek when he was in that one car garage it is and written out buildings in two different states up north. I also had been watching sleeper dude 88. Nothing bad to say about them but I have to have time to do something else other than watching UA-cam. So I dropped them and stayed with Pudden'. Or watch some of the others and most of them have 300 to a few hundred subscribers. So I'm saying this guy's great.
VGG has become a little too produced for my taste recently. Sleeperdude is a good choice, and of course Mortske, but Pole Barn Garage is building something over there you might be interested in.

I am absolutely loving this 61 Chevy wagon. That is a rare car, best build I've seen in a long time. Can't wait for the 1st drive and really hope you put this car on t-shirts etc....

You should be happy with that progress in just 2 days. You went through at least 10 things that would stop me in my tracks and have the project stalled. That's why I don't even try anymore, just watch it done on UA-cam.

@@peter-pg5yc Love the way he handled the e-brake cable problem. Hardly slowed him down at all! I would have probably wasted hours stugging and adjusting ... then googling, maybe buying something that took forever to ship and then didn't work. He just grabbed a grinder and a welder and got it done.

Tech tip from a old Moonshiner..When ya bend tubes put salt, sugar or sand in it and you can bend them in circles..
Clorox wipes works a treat on that. Will take off permanent marker too.
Air cleaner, I believe you can use a open element type 11" drop base and bolt the factory type lid on top😉
Another goodin’. You accomplished a lot. You can also get a banjo joint for the carb fuel inlet. On the air cleaner you can use the OEM and put your speed holes in the side or cut the sides off of that distinctive OEM top to make an exposed filter.

You should think about one of those electric parking breaks they're a whole lot easier to install you just push a button and it locks itself They are meant for like the hot rods like the T - buckets and what not.
I like the condensed build video, and hope to see one for the Datsun and even this build someday.
Put a breather cover that matches the valve covers, it should look fine. Great video, thanks for sharing! 😁👍

Edit: The air filter housing/cover i mean. I like the shape. Put some stickers with the engine displacement on it, and it'll look killer.

To help bend that there dipstick tube get yourself a 1/2” conduit bender to give you a nice bend just the way you want without the kinks! 😎👍

Lovin the build so far, she's coming together nicely! I've got a tip on your jack stands, I noticed that your jack stands don't have the tab pushed in, all it does is keeps the post from separating from the base, it's that little cut-out just above the release handle. I found that out after buying a set that had a sicker next to it saying that's what it was for, I guess the instructions say that too but who reads those! It definitely made things easier when working on taller stuff. Hope ya find this helpful!

When the jack stand bit you I felt that... Because I literally felt that earlier today after rebuilding everything on the rear brakes of my truck good penny-sized blood blister unfortunately on my trigger finger... I'm willing to sacrifice a range day just to keep my old truck happy and stopping like she was still new any day of the week👌
You should really do the rate that exhaust bit 😂. I think an air cleaner to match the valve covers would be cool. Love the video man.
