Yes. This one was the first version, which later has been replaced by the 'rain scene.' Aaliyah and the director were not satisfied with this one so they came up with the rain one. This footage has been shot by Erik White.

I remember starting high school the day after her and her amazing teams deaths. I started my high school years broken hearted. So much time has past but my heart hasn't done much healing at all. I forever miss and love Aaliyah Selena and lefteye. My trinity. So much beauty and talent.

She left to do a remix with rapper freeway and just blaze they confirmed that out of their own mouth. They said Damon set that up. Hype Williams company rented that plane to save money. It was in her wrongful death lawsuit her parents won. Somebody from the record company told the airport to skip weighing the luggage etc. Now in my opinion I think that was her uncle cause he blew up his girlfriend car. I think he did that to keep aaliyah from doing that remix. Cause if she went to rocafella he wasnt gonna makw no more money. He thaught he would continue to get her royalties if she was dead. It was said she was leaving her uncle company and hanging with rocafella. Her uncle was stealing from her, Toni Braxton, timberland, j dub, etc. They sued him I'm court. He got his girlfriend fired from her job. People working with her that day said Damon kept calling her and them to see if she was on the plane. So she died behind greedy and cheap people. That wasn't just no accident cause they intentionally overloaded that plane without telling aliyah and her staff. That's why her parents won the lawsuit it wasn't her fault. The poor people that died with her was just in the wrong place. When people want to hurt u they don't care who's around.

My goodness... I just got chills watching this. Amazingly rare footage! I’ve always preferred this version over the album version. I used to have the CD single and “Death of a Playa” was the B-side track. I miss Aaliyah more and more as the years go on. Truly was an Angel on earth 🥰
