Hello, my lovelies! Here’s a new detective song called ‘Dark Secret’. As we all here love a bit of sleuthing, why not try and solve some detective riddles? Here are a few I found in a practice book: 1. A man was found dead with a cassette recorder in one hand and a gun in his other hand. When the police came in, they immediately pressed the play button on the cassette. They heard the man say, “I have nothing else to live for. I can’t go on.” Then there was the sound of a gunshot. After listening to the cassette tape, the police knew that it was not a suicide, but a homicide. How did they know? 2. A woman goes to the police claiming that someone broke into her house and stole her diamond bracelet while she was at work. The policemen investigate the crime scene and notice that the bedroom window is broken. There are muddy footprints all across the bedroom floor. However, the room is otherwise neat and organised. The following day, the woman is arrested for fraud. Why? 3. A man is found murdered on a Sunday morning. His wife calls the police, who question the wife and the staff, and are given the following alibis: - The wife says she was sleeping - The butler said he was cleaning the closet - The gardener was declared he was picking vegetables - The maid explained she was getting the mail - The cook said she was preparing breakfast Immediately, the police arrest the murdered. Who did it and how did the police know? *_If you believe you can solve it, leave your thoughts in the comments. I will post the correct answers in the Community section on Jan 2, so you can check if you were correct or not._*
1. Someone hit rewind. (Kids these days may not get this one since you don't need to rewind an mp3!) 2. No rain? No mud? Not too sure about this one. 3. No mail on Sundays (though she could very well have been getting Saturday's mail 😁).
New Years, new fears, new tears. New line, so fine, we are invited to invisibly dine - with you, creator of visible voids, unspoken perfection. Thank You.
These beautiful immersive videos have helped me so much while writing my historical heist novel. Thank you for the time and creativity you put into making these! 💗
Happy New Year to you. I am in love with the paintings, the movement of the room, the lighting. All of it. I love it. Perfect music in every way to write too.
I'm not sure about riddle 2 but I'm guessing the 1st one has to do with someone stopping the tape recorder, because if it had been a suicide it would have still been recording. The 3rd is the maid because there is no mail on Sunday.
Riddle 2 is that since the room was neat and organized other than the mud, I assume that means no broken glass inside, meaning the glass was broken from inside.
@@randomcartoon8901 I remember a one-minute mystery, where a detective played a tape that conveniently recorded the events of a murder. The fact that the tape played from start to finish meant it was rewound, implying the dead man wasn’t dead. Something like that.
@@BurgerDrawzI belive it was a suicide recorded by the man that took his own life. You hear a gunshot at the end of the recording. The detective says “It’s a murder” because the tape had been rewinded after the man took his life
I use this as background music while I play Disco Elysium. It matches the vibe PERFECT, highly recommend to anyone who's playing the game. Very well done!
Colonei Mustard: C'mon, Jeeves. We're always blamed early. Let's drink ourselves silly in the billiards room. Butler: Yes sir. We can't be suspects if we are elsewhere. I'll prepare the room. Colonel: Splendid. Now, where did I leave that candlestick…
1. He can’t rewind the tape if he’s dead. 2. She lied because if it was broken into, the window shards would’ve dropped on the floor inside the house. 3. I’m not too confident on this one, but I believe it was the maid because the thought came to me that they didn’t deliver mail on Sundays.
1. If the man was dead, he would not be able to atop the tape from recording. 2. If someone broke in from the outside, there would be glass fron the window on the floor. 3. The maid. No post on Sundays, Harry! 😂
It was impossible, but it seemed to be the single, inescapable conclusion. On that very day during which I slept in a feverish daze, the only individual in the manor with the means, motive, and without any other alibi was... myself. The longer I thought about the implications of my newfound inheritance, the more my period of unconsciousness troubled me... but was it really fear I felt? Or was it, perhaps, excitement...?
1. There was the wrong dominant hand. The man was either right or left, but the gun was placed in the opposite hand. This was personal, yet sloppy as the killer didn’t know their victim quite so well. 2. Obviously insurance fraud, the glass was broken from the inside as there would’ve been glass everywhere and the woman couldn’t possibly be left alive after a burglary. Also only one thing was “stolen” because a robber would steal as much as they could before leaving, including anything less of value. 3. It was the maid. As said in Harry Potter in the Philosopher’s Stone, “Right you are, Harry. No posts on Sundays,” as the maid would’ve still been in the house with her late employer during the time of his death. Also I suspect jealousy or the pathetic “If I can’t them, no one can,” excuse.

1. A dead man would not be able to stop the recording 2. A robber would have destroyed the room looking for anything of value 3. The butler. Why in the world would he be cleaning a closet?

N'gutn rutsh ins neue Jahr!🥳🎇✨😘🔱
1. I believe the cassette récord stopped.
2. The burglar knew exactly where to look for the bracelet.
3. The maid.

The police.
1. Someone hit rewind. (Kids these days may not get this one since you don't need to rewind an mp3!)

Your taste is different and beautiful. I really appreciate your creativity and effort 🕯️🖤🤍
There's nothing better than sitting with a hot drink, listening to this, and letting my mind wander where it will. Pure enjoyment and peace!❤

Behold the princess of the knitting tribe 😂

This isn't depression, this isn't sadness, this is peace.
It is a sadly peace
no one said it was depressive or sad. your comment is spurious and superfluous.

I am using this as a backdrop while I work on my current novel. Thank you for such great inspiration.
What's the novel about? I'm in the middle of illustrating my first fairytale.
@kablopz Excerpt!!
Perfect for background inspiration for my writing!
Beautiful
1. A dead man isn't able to rewind tape
Is this a reference to something?

After listening to the recording, the detective knew at once that this was a murder, not a suicide. ⚡
C'mon guys
🧐
I wish I lived in a house like that
:)
The moving portraits on the walls totally creeped me out! :D Nice work.
I needed some background music as I read an Agatha Christie book for my summer reading, tysm!!
I'm glad you like it! If you need something for reading Agatha Christie, why not try this themed playlist? ua-cam.com/video/fiu2xiG1504/v-deo.html

I broadcast the sound of your video to accompany our game on the Cluedo escape game. It was really impeccable, thank you very much! 🌟
*gasp...* This is going on repeat
Also, I'm terrible at riddles so i hope someone guesses soon!
Tape doesnt rewind by itself, no mail on sundays, the glass shards were on the outside of the window
Thank you!!! The glass shards! The room was otherwise "neat and clean".
Well done, i couldn't figure that one out.
Beautiful 🖤
This is like the only thing I can focus with when I study I now use it all of the time
I always used your playlists as background noise for my role plays in games.
What is the first instrument you use in this music piece (before the piano)? It sounds like a sitar.
It is
