Just received my OG 2.0 man I'm late to the party but I'm so glad I found out about this company I love my OG 2.0 support this made in the USA company......great products with fast delivery
I've had a Contour since early 2017 (the limited Spectrum color). I have had this wallet in my pocket every day since the day it arrived. The leather has patina'd exceptionally well, and there is absolutely no visible wear on any part of the wallet (and I'm a metal fabricator, so it's not babied in my shop). It was one of those purchases where I thought, "heck, for $140, I hope I get a couple years of use before I have to get another wallet" (since the record was about a year prior to this one). All I can say is, I'm willing to bet lots of $$ that this wallet lasts for the next twenty years. It's just that good...and no, I have no affiliation with Trayvax - I'm just a very happy customer. Great review, btw.
Thank you for this update. Glad to see how much wear these can take. Before I got the Trayvax Axis and OG 2.0 I was using a leather front pocket bi-fold which does not compare to any Trayvax wallet in any way. I love the latch for the 2.0 - whoever came up with that design is a genius. Cannot decide between the Axis and 2.0, I love them both, but am being drawn to the Contour with every review!
Great review just noticed from your video that they changed the Ascent specially the rivets at the bottom. A little hard to explain but on the newer ones the rivets are smoother on both sides...thanks again for the review.
Great review and it ties in with my experiences. I have the Armoured Summit, the Original 2 and a Ti Contour. They're all great wallets. The Original has the genius roller lock clip which is so simple but so effective. I love the compactness of the Summit. But the contour is the star of the show. It's the perfect blend of metal and leather. Once you have adjusted the leather to the number of cards you carry it's compact, neat and easy to use. The only downside is that it's expensive. Beautifully made with great ingredients but expensive.
Thanks for the video … one of that most help me . I am struggle to decide between ascend and contour …. I like both and I don’t carry to much cards - about 5…. What I like in the contour is that your money is a kind o hided. I also ride a motorcycle and I think that with element should nice to use in the front pocket and chain attached maybe ….and I don’t know which one will have more damage cards issues ( if exist) . What’s your opinion ? Thanks again and keep safe .
Great review. I have Contour, Ascent Element and Armored Summit. For what ever reason I always find myself going back to the Element. Just something about that wallet for me. I am carrying the ascent right now, just because I just bought it but feel the itch to go back to the Element. The Contour is great, but for the money I’m not sure I would get it again. I really like leather and it’s just not enough leather for me for a high price. Not upset I got it. It’s still in the rotation, just not my favorite. For now anyway
Totally understandable feelings. I do custom gunleather on the side, so I'm more drawn to the marriage of leather and metal, which is something I can't quite accomplish in my shop.
I’m not sure why I find myself repeatedly watching videos about trayvax wallets. Like you, I own the Contour and Ascent, but unlike you, I find myself always going back to the Ascent. This is despite its lesser capacity. I just can’t seem to move on to the contour as my everyday carry. Nonetheless, good video in my opinion.
I found the OG2.0 wins for me, for just ease of use. The Contour is more versatile for the look -- for dress up or dress down occasions, that is, and I do like the way it handles cash a bit more.
Nice overview of these Trayvax wallets. I would really like the Contour, but they're listed at $150 now. In your experience, have you seen any scraping or damage on the cards from sliding in and out? That's my only concern with metal wallets.
Thanks! I have not had any issues with cards being damaged. I suppose if you have the adjustable ones set super tight that could happen but mine are just snug with no problems.
Nice reviews! I collect custom leather wallets (@edc_adam) but have branched out and added Trayvax to the collection. I have all of these and have considered adding the Axis as well. They all have unique offerings and there is certainly one to be carried for every occasion. Can't beat their quality for sure! Thanks for sharing!
I have been using the Axis about 3-1/2 months now, and just started using the OG 2.0. I like them both. The Axis is a little slimmer, maybe 1/8”, and the Velcro strap makes it very easy to pull out of your pocket. The pocket that can hold coins or a key is nice, and I used it to hold folded cash, I could fold at least 4 bills and fit them in the pocket so they are secure, are not visible, and easy to pull out. But, as this video states, the latch on the OG is just fun! I like both wallets very much and will probably switch between them. I also like the Axis because it has your cards between two plates of stainless steel so they are protected against almost anything that would damage your cards and IDs.

Preach! Lol

Thanks! I often have to convince folks I'm not affiliated with the company because I rave about their products so much, lol.
Great video! I’ve had my eye on the Ascent and Contour for years now but I can’t spend that much on a wallet. And they keep going up.

If the original falls out of my pocket on the motorcycle, will all the cards fall out?
Just got the element and love it, over my older travax wallets

Awesome review thank you sir 👍🏽
Glad you liked it!
I have the original, the Axis, armoured Summit and the contour. The Contour is by far my favorite
The contour is so good!

Thanks! I think it's awesome that different people are drawn to different wallets. They are all great and unique.

I completely agree! I'm tempted to get a g10 OG 2.0 for a slightly more subtle look. But the blue is just so nice looking, lol.
