You guys realize that the powers that be in the WNBA working in conjunction with women's basketball PR are making such a big deal out of Caitlin to bring attention back to the WNBA. As a white player in a predominantly black league, she is a "great white hope" and makes white folks curious to wonder if she can dominate a predominantly black league. Thus more attention to the league. It gets folks talking about the league again because ticket sales were wayyy down. This is exactly what it looks like.

I remember Jackie styles when she was in highschool and then Missouri State 97-01 and was a straight baller, now this girl was kinda a replica of CC but better in scoring she was picked up first round fourth pick for the Portland fire team in the wnba and was the ROTY but career was cut short due to injuries but she could have been a great player in the wnba if healthy thru out. Didn't know if anyone remembered her?
Clark, before changing the WNBA (maybe), will have to change her own style of play. Her fans thought she could play the same way she did in college, but it was clear even then that this was impossible due to the greater competitiveness of the WNBA, as reality later demonstrated.
And please, stop making ridiculous comparisons to men's basketball; if you are not ignorant, the WNBA is full of champions to look up to

Everyone knows your not a good player in the pros without a college national championship. That's just a fact. You're guaranteed to be a hall of famer in the NBA, NFL, NHL, Wnba if you're drafted after a national championship win. CC has done more harm then good in the W and for her team. The Fever were a winning and points scoring machine before she joined them. She's done nothing to move the needle at all. The league was already selling out arenas and gymnasiums with record profits, Gates and attendance. Their tv viewership was through the roof. CC will be permanently benched or cut by the All Star break guaranteed. Then maybe the league can continue it's historic rise in it's popularity all around the world. Seee the problem isn’t when yall talk about the attention she has brought because she does deserve those flowers. The problem is yall talking about her revolutionizing anything. Have you even been watching the games? Cause the women are showing week after week not only have they been shooting the same shots for years they can stop her from making hers. The only thing she has changed is the eyes on the game which is great. But stop talking about her changing anything actually related to the game. She isn’t the first good deep 3 point shooter, she won’t be the last and she isn’t even currently the best at it. That’s where the problem comes in. When yall take credit from the ones that have been doing it, the ones that actually revolutionized the game, and give it to her because of the eyes she has brought.
