Dav, I noticed that when you play sorcerer you go with 12 intelligence. Why is that? I understand that the high wisdom is for the Wish spell, but I don't see the reason to use 12 intelligence. I recently rolled a 93 (elf sorcerer) and I went with:
15 strength
19 dexterity
16 constitution
10 intelligence
15 wisdom
18 charisma
afaik sorcerers just get a set amount of spells per level that is not affected by int
On a Sorcerer, all you really need is a 9 for Intelligence so you can use scrolls and most arcane quick slot items (Clay Golem Manual takes 16). Max Strength is a great idea for throwing the Boomerang dagger and Firetooth dagger as well as carry weight without using one of the Strength belts more suitable for your Warriors. Charisma can be dumped as the Circus quest rewards you the Ring of Human Influence that grants a static 18 Charisma and there's a Nymph Cloak with +2 Charisma in Maevar's guild Shop Keeper's inventory for a combined 20 Charisma max discount at stores.
Powergaming wise dumping cha and swapping items while necessary is the play for sure, but if you can spare the stats for a decent cha roll (doesn't need to be 18, I find something like 14-15 totally sufficient) it makes the game, in my opinion, more enjoyable. Especially while looking from a perspective of multiple playthroughs. I'm the kind of player that keeps my mc at position 1 even as a 1 cha dwarf for the differences it provides in playthroughs (especially in bg1) and it spares you the micromanagement of swapping those items in when necessary. I'd argue it's especially noticeable with players like Dav who (of course ONLY due to streaming and the constant need of delivering bad takes) tend to forget those things fairly often which in combination of no-reload might make a mess once in a while. Just to make it clear I agree that maxing str/con/dex/9 int is way more important.

@@Jamesthomas12187 Main challenge is the lack of very great female fighter.
But i also think about another variation, hack the game to create the whole team, and stay with it loosing the xp of characters quest but compensating with a perfect complementary team !

@@Jamesthomas12187 Jaheira is the first i take in this case for sure ! But unfortunately i don't have the time to make a run for now.. But if i do i prefer the idea to hack the save and make the whole team.
