I've learned a great deal from you Mr. Shango. We've communicated before, and I would like to say thank you once again. I enjoy fixing radios myself, but I didn't know too much about going about repairing them. Ten years later, I'm selling my repaired radios and the skills I've learned from people like you.
If one really wanted to, take a wooden embroidery hoop, coil some magnet wire around it and hook up a variable capacitor in parallel with the coil, and "presto," you'll have a home made tune-able AM antenna.
Volunteer cabin vintage transistor unboxing done in the Mojave desert north of Baker, CA. Love the "There will be a $5 charge..." sign next to the American flag . That Silvertone radio model 4217 at 57:35 in looks awesome. Great radio from 1964. The 132.xxxxx prefix for Sears chassis is Arvin/Norblitt Sparks.
"I can feel it coming in the air tonight." Or should I say. Mend it Mark, fixed it in his shed last night.🎶🎶🎶🎶 Nice one Shango! Merry Christmass and a Happy New Year to you.

Mend it mark great in-depth repairs of more modern stuff. Nice gentle accurate critic of expensive audiophile equipment. Phill Collins 😂
You know what's better then screw turning not edited out, is them spending an extra couple hours editing screw turning in.
Hi Shango. I enjoy your videos.

There's plenty of freedom. Just certain kinds. Especially if it's profitable. Very interesting show!
do more livestreams, I like it. The iraqi radios can probably be aligned to work properly, pretty sure they're just misaligned a lot

O.M.G.S stands for Oh My Gawd Shango!
The T.O. has a great antenna so it won't benefit much from the loop. Loops are good for radios with small ferrites.

“Retired USPS” worker here, saw it all!
So how Manny Transistor Radios do You have? 10,000? 50,000? or less then that?
All too obsessively neat & orderly. I did not hear any mixed screws or battery covers hit the floor. 😅
Why you were using wire cutter as screw driver ... ?

You should see him when he uses a screwdriver as a wire cutter!
