Thanks for a very timely video, as I'm currently looking into some acoustic treatment, and am trying to determine the best way to attach to a sloping 'popcorn' ceiling!
There will need to be sheetrock repair. Many companies make adapters to get around the glue, but they cost far more than future sheetrock repair. One other option is to cut out some very thin pieces of MDF slightly smaller than the panel. You can screw them to the wall, then glue the panels to the MDF, then you just have four small screw holes to repair later. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice I just removed some panels the other day using a 8in drywall knife and goop pro adhesive removal spray. Once you spray the left-on the wall adhesive wait 15min them wipe it off. It comes off like butter. Then you can paint the wall. I found removing left-on adhesive is easier than removing left-on tape. Good Luck PM

Great to hear!
Thanks! I’d love to see a video on acoustically transparent decor to hide in wall speakers.
Guilford of Maine has several fabrics that work well. Thanks for watching

We're glad this video was helpful, Don! Thanks for watching.
Very informative!
Thank you!
Does this glue work on the cinema round premium which have a foam backing? I used flexi glue and it continues to come off..
Their Flex Glue Ultra is recommended for those
Good video thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Let's say you want to repaint the walls in a few years. Can the panels be removed if they are glued?

I've tried velcro strips it's nice and easy but if you don't mind waking up in the middle of the night having them falling, go for it.
We found they only work on the very lightweight VMT panels, thanks for watching
I don't think glue is a viable solution, especially with such light panels. Don't recommend doing this.
We find it works well, but it should only be used in a permanent situation. Thanks for sharing
