Such a great band. As a metal guy, they are my guilty pleasure. The musicians also did a side project called DOLL$BOX with Fuki on vocals from (now) Unlucky Morpheus. Just great players/songwriters/performers. Gacharic Spin has the whole package.

This band are amazing! They formed in 2009 and this track/MV is promoting their new album that just dropped a few weeks back. They've released a bunch of singles/EP's from their first few years, then two indie albums, then got signed to a major label in 2014 and have released 5 albums and several EP's since then.
They're known for mashing up styles and genres, you'll never know quite what to expect from them! Their back catalogue covers everything from EDM and pop, to speed metal and prog rock, to latin jazz.
Bassist Michiko "F Chopper" Koga is known as one of the best bassists in Japan and regularly ranks highly in Japanese Bass Magazine "Best Bassist" lists. The "Chopper" part of her stage name is a reference to slap bass which is called "chopping" in Japanese. She's a veteran musician even before founding Gacharic Spin, before creating this band she was the bassist in the popular punk group "The Pink Panda" which was active from the early 2000's to 2008. She also did a series of bass instructional DVD's which were very popular and excerpts from them have millions of views on UA-cam. Davie504 has actually checked out a video of her playing on his channel before, but a collab between them would be awesome.
Drummer/singer (in this track) Hana Sano is the co-founder of the band along with F Chopper Koga. A noted multi-instrumentalist she seems to have a knack for picking up any instrument at extreme speed. Also a veteran musician active since the early 2000's she had played guitar, bass, drums and been a singer for various bands before founding Gacharic Spin. When her and Koga founded the band they decided for her to be the drummer despite her only have played them briefly before in a short lived collaboration her and Koga had had back in 2005. When the lead singer of Gacharic Spin suddenly quit in 2011 she took over lead vocals and drums for a long time. Since 2019 they've got a replacement drummer called Yuri and Hana mostly sings and plays guitar or other instruments nowadays, although Yuri was on maternity leave for the album they just released so she recorded the drums for it as well as her vocal and guitar parts. She's also the main arranger and composes a lot of the music, although composition is shared throughout the band.
If you want to keep checking out more from this band, next stop I'd recommend being the other new MV they recently released called "I Wish I" - it's absolutely nuts!

@@dekoe86 Koga and Hana are both 35 and started their careers aged 16/17. Keyboard player Oreo Reona is 34 and guitarist TOMO-ZO is 33, both also started their professional careers in their teens. Pink haired singer Angie is only 19 however and joined the band aged 17 in early 2019. There's also a drummer called Yuri (not in this video due to being away on maternity leave when the song was recorded and the video shot) who I don't know the exact age of but I believe she's about 25.

Koga ia a famous bassist and her two demonstration/lessons (2011) in playing slap bass have millions of views. Their other new song 'I Wish I' mixes heavier metal with their Power Electro-pop, Heavy Disco and Speed Funk styles. For Halloween: they starred in a full length theatrically released zombie film 'Metalca' (2013), English subtitled version 'Dead Banging'. Live they really entertaining. They also are in fantastic side project band 'Doll$Boxx' with Fuki as vocalist.

Gacharic Spin and 2 Steps from Hell on the same day😁. They have some of the craziest live performances I've seen - hope you check out more soon!

Great reaction, much appreciated! Gacharic Spin rocks more tan ever nowadays, and has an amzing (even if as hectic as their line-ups) back catalog.

Bassist F Chopper Koga was already featured in a davey504 video about Japanese bassists. I think the video was ベース教則『FチョッパーKOGAのスラップ・ベース楽ちん☆フレーズ集』 Digest. She has some spectacular bass solo work on the atosinternational UA-cam channel.

    Great reaction
You have already seen a blue haired drummer singing, don't you? Remember the video "Monopoly" by the japanese band DOLL$BOXX? Maybe not. Gacharic Spin (pronounced Gocha-Rick Spin) is a japanese electro-funk-rock-and other genres band from Tokyo and DOLL$BOXX was their side project with the singer Fuki of the band Unlucky Morpheus.
"MindSet" is a song from their self-titled album which came out two months ago. You should check out the song "I wish I" from the same album, it's their latest single. They are also amazing live band.
Koga (the bassist) already featured in some Davie504 videos, she's really well known in Japan.
    Thanks for your reaction
Please do more japanese bands. You didn't reacted yet to ASTERISM, an instrumental trio from Fukuoka. They are insanely skilled. Check out their song "STARS" or "Gunfire". Another great trio (but with vocals this time) is Sokoninaru, a math rock band from Osaka. Please, check out the songs "Tenohira De Odoru" or "God Ni Moyu". These are smaller japanese bands which need more exposure from a channel like yours. Thank you again

They have the fun factor 100% Now looking at your face must be how I looked the first time I listened them. KOGA doing craw hammer to the bass - Oreo doing funky stuff on the Key board - TOMO-ZO doing her thing guitar - Hana keeps them in beat on the drums. They are like this always their live show something to witness. A good live video check out Gacharic Spin「TAMASHII」 ua-cam.com/video/Jt7-GGRa3nc/v-deo.html you want be disappointed trust me.

Does your accent pronounce "o" as "a"? Because it's a definite "a" sound in the name, closer to "gat-cha" than "gotcha"
