- My first stab at editing. I wanted more done but going to see. Building my s6 was super fun and now I have a great looking car that is arguably faster than 95% of cars on the road. Thanks for watching.

That's great to hear! I didn't record the rs7 turbos or the center shaft support bearing. That thing is a blast to drive; I'm proud it landed in a great home!

-Removing those Oil Filter screens on the Turbos. ;)
Yes, I finished the video before I did rs7 turbos and some drivetrain upgrades. I wish I would've waited to add all the upgrades. Oh well, someday I'll do another car!

Not really, the RS6 grilles are in fact cheap, I should know there is one on CERBERUS. But they do look great and offer a lot more air flow. IJS

@@michaelcoyle1062 I have Merc racing intake cooler ordered, CTS Radiator for it, AWE downpipes (figure I'll weld up my own exhaust), serviceable oil line kit ordered, and was going to go CTS turbo, but then I found Quicker racing was doing a 54mm ball bearing for $500 more (I emailed em). . . Either way, spooley bois will get upgraded. Probably do the fuel kit with Ethanol sensor, and maybe meth injection. I'll be done at that point.
Awesome build! Man that's surprising a stage 2 Golf R beats a downpipe B8 S4. I'd love to buy an S6 but I'm looking for a b8.5 S4 right now. Now I'm thinking about a Golf R again though.....
Yea, my dual pulley b8.5 s4 couldn’t take the R. When I had no cats on it it was faster, but it was too loud for my taste. I put the JHM catted downpipes on it and slowed her down a bit. Once my buddy (known as the Gap Lord) lol, started getting good at brake boosting, the s4 couldn’t hang anymore. But it was OTS IE tune. I’m sure other tunes or even an E40 tune would smash him. The S4 is a better car than the R and more practical imho. Thanks for watching

Car is amazing I totally didn’t Even know about the s6/8 platform then I saw your video a year ago and I’ve been searching for one ever since. Do you still have the CTS intakes? Everything I’ve read so far says they are really restrictive. Either way thanks for inspiring my current obsession 😂
I would recommend SRM intakes. The cars has rs7 turbos now and it’s worth it to go with SRM intake. Sounds better too. Thanks for watching

I've had ZERO issues. Just religiously change the oil every 3-4k miles.

@@AudiS6OBSESSED Fitment turned out great; however, I will say that it was a huge PITA to install. My heat gun was a great tool in getting it to bend as needed.

The 6s are bigger/smoother rides. If you get an a6; get the 3.0T engine

@@michaelcoyle1062 thanks. Are you satisfied with the unitronic tune? I'm still deciding on a tune. Unitronic, Dyno Spectrum or JHM. One that has tcu and stage 3+ included.
@@Wanderer25 super reliable tune. Even with the rs7 turbos and trans stage 2. Car has been spectacular. Unitronic got it right. I’ve since sold the car but great feedback from the buyer as well.
RS grille is a huge improvement. One of the first things I did to my s5 when I bought it.

Great looking S6! Have the same mods minus rhe RS7 turbos. Only question id have is did you notice heat soak with those type intakes? We tested both tyoe intakes, IEs internal and ECSs short ram and found the short ram intakes suffered high heat soak temps. However, not nearly as bad had they been positioned on the other side near manifolds. Great build!!

Flash from home and I will be adding rs7 turbos in the next couple weeks, then I can simply flash the extra 100 hp again!
@@michaelcoyle1062 flashing from home is huge. I couldn't imagine going APR or something else that requires a "dealer" unless you got special warranty support.
If you haven't, I'd look very seriously at DS1. Excellent canned OTS (off the shelf) tunes but it also is a tuning platform itself for logging and custom tunes. Check out the FB group:

@@hikeskool Thanks. I am stage 2 TCU with Unitronic as well. Honestly, I never looked at DS1 until recently. They are gaining a reputation. I'm already VERY invested with Uni lol so switching now would be costly. I'm comfortable with Unitronic being a slightly less aggressive tune also. The car is fast, super fast, on June 5th, I'll go rs7 turbos, jhm oil screen relo kit and updated pcv. I cant imagine how it'll feel w 665hp and 634 tq, but looking forward to it!

Are you doing the JHM kit by yourself or paying someone? I might get the kit and pay someone to do it while they're installing SRM long tube intakes.
How much lower did your car go? Looks good. I had mine lowered 15mm but that wasn’t using h&r. My mechanic just recalibrated the suspension parameters. I think I can go to 20mm
I did the same thing with my OBDEleven! Audi says max is 17mm I think, I went with 15 just like you. I’m sure you could get away with 20 of Audi days 17 is okay but might risk tires bumping into the frame up too

I have same model, only thing done to it is a catless downpipe and a stage 2 tune. 570hp. And a transmission tune. But i should atleast replace the intercooler with a bigger one.
I highly recommend the heat exchanger from JHM. Theirs comes with the mounting bracket already installed for a really simple install. They have black and chrome. I eventually did rs7 turbos; what a beast! good luck man

In your opinion is it worth getting rs7 turbos. Is it a big enough difference to get it concidering the money it costs mine does 100-200 in around 8.4s now. How much hp did you get with RS7 turbos and tune. Btw yours look amazing.
@@mrd799 UNITRONIC STAGE 2+ : 665HP / 634LB-FT It was a massive gain. I also went ahead and swapped the driveshaft bearing and put in drivetrain inserts for peace of mind. Your car is already one of the fastest on the road. I'd say that if you ever have turbos fail, then go the rs7 route. I did mine because I was worried about the turbo screen. So I did the JHM screen relo kit, updated PCV and rs7 turbskis. It is an amazing car, but that final level was a lot of money so in hindsight, I'd only do it after a failed turbo. Most factory boosted cars with a 6 cylinder or 8 cylinder do that making them the best cars to get if you aren't going for aftermarket boost

No, just pay the difference. So yes, each step will cost you more but you won’t pay twice. Honestly, stage 1+ is an awesome sweet spot on this car. I’ve gone 2+ w rs7 turbos now.

the 3.0t can push quite a bit more power. The 2.0t can to but not nearly as much. Either way a stage 1 or 1+ tune will really wake up either engine. Good luck!

Well how much did you sell it for and what were the miles? I feel like they've been quite expensive lately especially for ones around the 100,000 through 120-000 mile range.

I like the stock gunmetal 5 arm rotors better for some reason.

How much did the comfort change when lowering the car?
can still feel the difference in comfort and sport. I'd say barely if at all

@@StevenCkoba really not sure.. You can check out the H&R lowering module for details. The comfort and dynamic modes still functioned as before only slightly lower. It is adjustable too.
Why put in not thermal isolated downpipes , audi put that on the stock downpiper for a reson

Either turn camera stabilization on or get a camera stabilizer.... Like I can't watch this anymore and I'm only 2mins and 10secs in. It's ridiculous. Had I played this back while editing I would have cut the shots out that were shaky and then if there were any that couldn't be removed, I would have either apologized to the audience or reshot all that I've done. You cannot do B-Roll without a stabilizer, so please don't do it again.

@@hikeskool 204 is naturally aspirated, so no matter what you do, you wont get the power the s6 will, unless you want to drop 10k, 205 is a 4.0 bi turbo like s6 but smaller and rwd

W204 C63 is a beast… and in Germany more loved as the W205 C63 (not only the engine)
