With the bus on you way to Cappadocia or Istanbul you must passed through the salt lake thats where is my home town (serefli kochisar) they usually stop there so you can walk on the salt lake hope they do keep up with good work waiting more 🇹🇷videos from 🇦🇺
beyinless61 I guess it’s because every vlog in Cappadocia people are enjoying the sunny weather and balooon rides, so that’s what I immediately think of... Same thing about my country Brazil. People always show the warm side, but you rarely see the snow in the south
We'd only ever seen it in sunshine as well, that's why we were so shocked in the last video and this one as well! We hear ya, just doesnt really cross your mind
It's indeed surprising for it to snow at the end of April in Cappadocia. The seasons are sliding and changing drastically lately, almost until October it was still like summer in Istanbul. But I must admit it looks gorgeous under snow as well :)
Such a cool landscape you guys. Turkey is on our must visit list! 😃 It's so fun to see you guys in the snow. Being from Canada I can tell you that it gets old fast 😉 We're warm weather chasers too - Trevor
The snow at the start is beautiful. I think it was a blessing you guys got to see this famous place different than anyone has film before. Appreciate you sharing things we've never seen. Amazing views from inside those cave homes. Great episode :) Safe travels guys, James and Kim
Pretty cool to see some of the ancient history of turkey. Its an interesting place with the influences from all the different reliions and history that shaped what turkey is today. Its nice to see alot of the history survived through all the wars and time in general.
Yep, our hot air balloon event at Cappadoccia was also cancelled! So heart breaking, huh?! All the balloonists/pilots (?) wearing their cool leather aviator jackets and waiting for their FAA clearance and after the cookies and tea, the chief aviator makes the unfortunate announcement and apologizing for the cancellation. You can see the cancellation given by their FAA & weather bureau on LCD monitors. Interesting that you have to type your name and country on some guy's laptop before you go up. By the way, a vice-consul of the French embassy in Istanbul died when his hot air balloon died when it snagged high voltage wires in Cappadoccia. 😘🇵🇭
Thats a shame yours got cancelled as well - did you still get to explore the area? Sounds like its a lot stricter in Cappadocia though, you'll see in our next vid we did get to hot air balloon at our next stop but it was so freakin casual!
So unfortunate you didn’t get to experience the Hot Air Balloon ride in Turkey. If you want to see what you missed you can check out my Flickr group, “Hot Air Balloons World-wide.” All of the Turkey photos our members have submitted are quite spectacular. Definitely add it to your bucket list for your next trip to Turkey.
Sorry you didn't get your balloon ride. Not that I would do it. I like my feet on Terra firma. I follow a few other vloggers who have taken the ride and it was wonderful to see. I hope you do get the chance; if not now maybe you can come back another time. However, your misfortune allowed us, the viewer, to get a different perspective of Cappadocia. I had not seen it covered in snow before. You two take care.
I agree. To me, it is more interesting to see a different aspect of a country rather than the same views by every UA-camr. I do understand that anyone who is visiting there may want to do the balloon tour, though. I know I would, even though I strongly stay away from those things, because.... Nah, too dangerous. I am glad there are UA-camrs who show the views to me in my own, safe living room. But yes, I especially like to see other sites that are not usually shown by the majority of travel vloggers.
We're definitely fortunate in that sense, totally agree. That was the catch phrase of the day "best case scenario" - meaning if we can't hot air balloon we're glad it's snowing so we get to spend the day exploring in a unique way to share with you!
You need to seriously chill, your comments are all so pointy and aggressive, you really need to listen better before dropping rude comments. This isn't in winter, its in the middle of summer, thats the point that was shocking for locals and travellers.
puhaha really? turkey seasons climate 4 lives. just summer so hot capiş, turkey is not in the desert.turkish people is not arabic ,turkish race is separate, very different in our geography okeyto ..I don't want to give history lessons ı hope ;)
Hey Guys, All the way from South Africa, :-) Myself and my wife Bronwyn watch all your guys videos I see this video was uploaded on the 30th April, do you remember what date this was when you were in Cappadocia? We will be in Cappadocia around the 22nd April this year, that's why we were wondering round about what date you were there when it was snowing
I know you guys were really looking forward to the ballooning, but in a way the cancellation allowed you to put out more footage of this unique location. It was great to join you guys as you explored the caves and just had a cool time. That lunch looked next level! :)
Totally agree - we got to see it in a way that we've never viewed and by the sounds of it, no one else on UA-cam really has either! Very cool alternative
That's so neat!! The hats really do look like they were placed there. :) We're actually starting to travel full time with our toddler in less than a month and Turkey is one of the top places on my list!
Weather happens. I'm happy your tour group offered a very interesting alternative. Going to look into using them this fall. Love that you didn't have to find your own adventure. Finding a couch was sublime. How on Earth did they get it there? Did they use rope ladders?
Just completed the 7 day one. Did the hot balloon in Capaddoccia. The sightings were good but the company is bloody horrible. Full of unfriendly British “Ryanair Travellers” or drunk and arrogant people from down under. Horrible experience thank fk I did the 7 day tour and not the 9 day one. That would’ve been horrific
Europe's weather has been really unpredictable and unseasonable just home from Italy and on the Chinque Terre and it was the coldest day in May for 150 years the following day was perfect weather. Also 2 days of rain in Rome with wind chill the positive side of this is the weather kept the crowds down and it is a different experience when the weather does its own thing.
Wow! Sometimes that can be a good thing like you said, glad you got to see it with less crowds then... gotta look for those positive notes anywhere you can 😊
I don't get it, we went to Cappadocia in february and it was -4 degrees on average but they let us do the balloon trip. I guess it was cold but not windy?
Apparently visibility is one of the most important factors, we got reaaallly unlucky at this time of year.... lucky we still did a flight (next video) but not in Cappa
Maurice Coggins the weather is quite unpredictable at this time of the year in turkey it can change very quickly.while people in the southern coast could swim in the sea, others could ski in the northern east part at the same time.
No balloon ride......too bad. I went there in middle of September and it wasn't even cold at 5 AM when we went on the balloon ride. It was the ride of a life time.
If you haven't (sorry haven't seen the rest of your video yet), but you MUST go to Dibek restaurant in Cappadocia. +90 384 271 22 09. Call ahead for certain dishes like the clay pot dishes. Unbelievable food, super friendly and hospitable and great rooms to eat in - love the shoes-off traditional low tables with cushions and rugs. We ate there two dinners in a row and tried for a third because we loved it so much but was all booked. The gozleme and manti and eggplant... well, everything. We could see a grandma cooking in the kitchen. So good. We even saw a young horse trotting outside freely in the parking area when the sun was going down over the landscape. Have fun!

Thanks ♥♥ Love from Turkey!! ♡
How fascinating! Thank you for sharing Cappadocia Turkey through your eyes!
😀 Always our pleasure
Wow!! For some reason, it has never even crossed my mind that it could snow there, especially at this time of the year! 😯😯😯
Why? Do you know which latitude is turkey on

Crazy huh!
Ahhh you guys had kev as your tour guide aswell! Such a legend im surprised its still so busy at that time of year!
Kev is a legend huh! Did you take the exact tour in the opposite direction?
A winter revenge for summer people ;) Zagreb is calling. You promised to come in December ;)
HAHA is this karma catching us for making promises we can't keep? 🤣
Ok....I'm going to need a gif of this moment 1:48 when Stace was windshield wiping her glasses! 😂😂

Super like from Brasil

Welcome to the last gasp of spring or is it the beginning of a long cold winter like ground hog day? looking good!
That's the confusion, it's deffo not meant to snow at this time of year!
🇹🇷🇹🇷❤️❤️
This looks amazing!! It looks like Badlands National park in some way.
I was just thinking that.
Your vlogs are genuinely peaceful to watch, stacey at 3:07 fighting her way into the frame haha

This was only last week! It's definitely not supposed to be snowing.
lol that's unlucky
I saw the snow the last january in Kapadokya...awesome ...cold but amazing !
Hi you guys Cappadocia in the snow? Amazing! ❤ it Australia
Crazy huh! Not normal at this time of year at all
I'm surprised you don't travel with a flashlight/torch. That's always on my pack list wherever I go.
Complaning about the weather but what do you expect when visiting in winter.
We didn't visit in winter.... that was the whole point. You should actually watch maybe.
Ok. Maybe inland weather. Bcoz the coastline is never gets that cold between may and October in turkey. But I love winter better. Sleeping is good
🇹🇷🇹🇷🇹🇷
Kapadokya is beautiful with and without hot air balloon
You guys are the best. Billman went here & missed everything:(
