I don't even know why, but I died laughing when Brian pulled the chalk out. It makes sense, but the way everyone just seemed to accept it without question is hilarious.

Not sure man handling that table would be on schedule for his deload. Table looks awesome and heavy.
The original Plan was 1100 lbs, but Brian knew Eddie would try to lift it so he added the extra 100.

@@noahc8997yep. It was not officiated so there is no proof it was that. Even if it was he had all time to do it and it was on his terms. When Eddie did it it was during a tournament in which he had already lifted dozens of times and was tired and sore.

The lift was officiated by worlds ultimate strongman (an official international strongman association) and guinness world records. Eddie took part in a deadlift competition where the only event he did was lift the 500kg and warmups, thor lifted the same warmups but also had shorter rest times than eddie, who as a friend of the organizers could rest for as long as he wanted.
If the WSM doesn’t work out this year you 5 could make the best furniture movers of all time
Don’t give them any ideas, they may put everyone out of the job.
They can make a TV show about it and it would be the best hit on TV

IKR. I couldn't see it until they had it at a certain angle to the camera and then when I did see it, I was thoroughly impressed with the journeyman skills of the guy who built it.

I was laughing when you said you having some friends coming over to help. Literally 3 of the strongest people in America, and arguably top 10 in the world. Pretty good friends to help you move stuff.😂
A forklift and his 3 friends. Could just place the table on their powerbellies and frog-walk it into place.
I’m sure these guys are very careful with this sort of thing tho. Don’t want to get some silly injury and risk your income. Think Brian has talked about this before, how being so strong can also be a bit of a curse because you’re so strong to can literally rip your own muscles apart doing regular household stuff. Must be weird.
Brian you seriously need to light up that table (and the base - LOVE the style!) for the podcasts. That thing needs attention. Really awesome metalwork by those guys.

@fosterpainter bro that's steel. It doesn't just break. I've worked with marble. Do you know how easy that breaks?
@@user-yf2xq3xn1u even though it's steel, it has to be done carefully, so you don't destroy the floor or walls or the guiding bar. Not to mention, injuring yourself in the process.
To be fair they are 6 strongmen lifting the table it is 133pounds or approx 58kg per person to lift and you are just moving it from sideways to ontop and then gravity will assist you for the rest.
On and off watcher of B Shaw for about 5 years and I still love every bit of him

800lbs between 5 people.

@@EA-tt9xd that is less than 200lbs per person. The average human can carry 200lbs.
@@GameTimeWhy They are 6 strongmen there so 133pounds per person or approx 58kg per person to lift, it is not light but that 50-60kg is around what the people in their 60s now a days had to carry up ladders to make concrete buildings these days there are rules on how heavy it can be but that is a different thing.
@@havtor007 yeah it's even lighter than I estimated. I used to carry 3-4 bags of concrete up hill and stairs before and I'm not 60. 133lbs isn't light but if you do any kind of exercise it's completely doable.
Only a 4x WSM can calm you down by saying " calm down its only 800lbs"

That's a very nice (and VERY heavy!) looking table. The heaviest thing I ever moved was helping my cousin when he got a granite kitchen top delivered. The thing weighed in at 300kg! There was about 6 of us helping it onto a dolly then up onto the kitchen top, holy bejesus that was damn heavy!
I know that a lot of this comes down to personal taste, table top looks amazing, not so sure about the base, but good choice with the crazy engineering to have the chunky bearings where the two meet , should make the 800 odd pounds of tabletop rotate pretty smoothly when required but also almost impossable to accidentaly get fingers in there regardless of their size.

Watching the worlds strongest men struggle to moving that makes me feel great about the normal guys on my crew I work with. I’m 170lbs the biggest guy on my crew is 250lbs and between 6 of us we move things equal or more than 1200lbs all the time. Carried a 900lb bath tub up 3 flights of stairs the other day.

small feature on the walls. Just a suggestion the outlets that are white. May look better if they were replaced with black outlets, and covers, to match the shelves, and won't stand out as much.
