  • In this streamer fly tying tutorial, Cheech ties the Concord Slider. As many of you know by now, I absolutely love tying and fishing sliders. Building them so they swim properly is no small task, and it can sometimes take a while before a streamer passes the vibe check. This one had so much movement that it would try to somersault in the water instead of tracking true. I wanted it to dig down, so I added a keel weight to both hooks to make it move without flipping over. It’s extremely easy to cast and pushes a lot of water, and like any of our other tutorials, experiment with multiple colors and sizes until you find what works best in your home waters!

Love the creativity you put out, it’s inspiring. Great fly! I’m pretty sure I can tie that streamer with all of the materials I have been collecting over the past year.

Hey Cheech, how about tying your beard into a fly while pretending that you’re unaware? That would really rock! You guys make me laugh, love it,

All your content and commentary during your tying sessions are really genuine! I cant wait to take a trip up to your shop from Prescott, AZ! BTW, on your youtube intro, when you say "Thats a big brown bro "!! And at the end "YEEAH"!! What is said in-between? Lol
