Gonna do this for a month and then update Alright so I notice a surprisingly large improvement in my pitch memory, and when I wasn't able to listen or practice for a long period of time I noticed a decrease. That said, you're largely sacrificing your sanity doing this shit, and just practicing would most likely fix your pitch really easily, but if you have a few notes that you always forget or you don't practice for a while this can help. Doing it daily is absolute hell tho, don't reccomend, although I might continue doing it occasionally because having better pitch helps with ap music theory a lot
@burdy yeah this video is more or less completely unnecessary lol, just playing your instrument and practicing daily and keeping pitch in mind, or maybe occasionally doing a pitch test online or smth is abt as far as I'd reccomend.
@burdy for context on my reply, since my original post I have maybe 95-98% accuracy with single notes within 2 or 3 seconds or smth, and I'm 16 years old so I don't think the idea of getting perfect age past childhood is impossible.
@@sochalant8056 LOL not everyone has an available instrument to play outloud , some are just singers or something else so you can't say this isn't helpful. especially for earlier stages of someone learning the different notes this can help them more than it could you perhaps.
Does this work is the voice actually the note that is a question I have Basically when the weird robot voice says d is he also singing the note like when he says A is it A on the piano? AWNSER NOW
No, but that's exactly what I've been looking for, as I think it'd be the most helpful way to internalize the notes in relation to the pitch... if anybody knows of such video, please, let me know!
As you run through the cycle of notes, try to listen to the unique property of each note. For example, C gentle vibrant ‘Arhh’ sound. C#/Db softer & rounder than C D harder sound than C#, clearer than C D#/Eb soft, crisp ‘Ahh’ sound. E Bold ‘Errr’ sound F distant, tense sound F#/Gb Hard, rough sound. G Smooth, clear G#/Ab mellow round sound A bold, round, rich, bright, clear sound A#/Bb softer than A, but more intense. B Harder than Bb, but not as vibrant as C Try to allocate a vowel sound to the notes in one octave on your instrument. Be aware that some notes are grouped together. I wrote this as I was listening to the upload. I hope it helps. 👍
What I try to do is hum each note well you are playing or you could listen to headphones and try to hum as close to the pitch as possible. It works I promise just keep practicing regularly and you will develop better pitch.
0:00 - A
1:02 - Bb/A#
1:56 - B
3:00 - C
3:57 - C#/Db
4:54 - D
6:00 - D#/Eb
6:54 - E
7:54 - F
8:57 - F#/Gb
9:48 - G
10:45 - G#/Ab
Thank you I already had perfect pitch but now I have perfecter pitch.
I want to be like you but I’m too lazy for this 💀

Any improvements yet?
Do you have a version of this with no talking?
yea this reapiting is soo fckin ...
It would be great if you do diferent intervals between the notes and give time to try to sing theme before the note is played

can someone help me translate these notes to alto sax cuz im confused wit some of em
C on alto sax is the same as D#/Eb on this upload. Hope that helps.
helps alot thank u❤️
How to practice it
listen to it a bunch... basically just listen to it when you goto bed.
As you run through the cycle of notes, try to listen to the unique property of each note. For example,
C gentle vibrant ‘Arhh’ sound.
C#/Db softer & rounder than C
D harder sound than C#, clearer than C
D#/Eb soft, crisp ‘Ahh’ sound.
E Bold ‘Errr’ sound
F distant, tense sound
F#/Gb Hard, rough sound.
G Smooth, clear
G#/Ab mellow round sound
A bold, round, rich, bright, clear sound
A#/Bb softer than A, but more intense.
B Harder than Bb, but not as vibrant as C
Try to allocate a vowel sound to the notes in one octave on your instrument. Be aware that some notes are grouped together.

@@Mike-rw2nh the most useful tip!
Wish he wasn't talking through it
How does this work?
Strum along and learn the neck of the guitar as you learn what each note sounds like
Hum along with note and think of name. I can't sing 🙊
What I try to do is hum each note well you are playing or you could listen to headphones and try to hum as close to the pitch as possible. It works I promise just keep practicing regularly and you will develop better pitch.
