A lot of times people over look the importance of the tail wing when you go to foil surf. That's ok - standard out of the box tail wings from the various manufacturers will perform well. As you improve your level of foiling and look to customize "Pimp Your Glide" the tail wing hydrofoil is a good place for you to begin your exploration of modifications. Sky Rama (Instagram @sky.rama) takes us through his preferences around the tail wing. Sky was voted one of the top 10 surf foilers in 2020 by Foil Hub (Instagram: @foilhub). You may not foil surf like Sky just yet but that doesn't mean you can't think about customizing your tail wing.

They be talking about cutting up 200$ rear stabilizers when you can buy unfiberglassed ones for 18-28$ and make them have whatever profile you want before glassing. What I’m saying is that, why cut up a 200$ stabilizer when you can build your own for less than a quarter or the price to experiment with. Unless your rich and don’t wanna get ur hands dirty I don’t think is worth buying a 200$ stabilizer just to cut it up
