I don't have a Retron5. I have the original consoles as well as a Super Retro Trio HD+. I use the 8BitDo M30 for my Genesis games on both my Genesis and my Super Retro Trio. I use the Retro-Bit wired Big6 (through a Mega 7800) for my Atari 7800, since I have a 7800 GameDrive, and it works wonderfully for that. The M30 on my 7800 (through my Mega 7800) works terribly. At this point, I don't deem a controller bad until I've used it on a couple different consoles.
Am I the only one who had no idea that wireless sega genesis controllers even existed
What is fun is finding out they had some back in the 90's also.
Ivr had one for a few years
I'm looking at getting the Retro Frighter controller for the PS3 soon as the original controllers just don't last long these with the old batteries.
I love the retro fighters controllers, I do recommend them.
