Thank you. I really enjoyed the video. The one thing I did learn from the video is… I am going to hire a pro like you guys. Just think that would be the best option.
Yes, we are using a shop vac to pull out the wrinkles out of the liner before water is applied. It is easier to use a shop vac to get the wrinkles out of the liner before water is applied, than pulling them out manually with your feet wo using the shop vac.
Our brand new pool from family leisure is leaking due to the installers not putting in a cove against the wall with my sand i had available...now it leaks and weve never been in the water..... just filled it up with water and nothing else..no steps, no ladder nobody nothing....pool my wife's been wanting and they screwed it up ....ive built a pool before and thought they would know to do that...hope they fix it this week....
I think you probably saw the pad that goes between the sand and the liner. The pad protects the liner from any small pointy objects (roots, twigs, small rocks) rubbing on or poking through the liner.
I am confused. I am installing a 27' round above ground pool. I have removed the grass and rocks and dug down to level the base. I dragged a 2x4 a zillion times to get the base as level as I can. I want to use paver bricks under the base plates. Do I now dig each paver into the base so the paver tops are level with the hard base? If so, how do I spread 2 to 4 inches of mason sand inside the circle of paver bricks? Wouldn't that lift the base above the paver bricks and bottom rail? I will be using foam cove inside the pool wall and pea gravel on the outside of the pool wall. Does it matter if the sand base is a couple inches higher than the bottom rail? I hope someone will be able to enlighten me on this matter within a couple days as I am at a standstill until I know. Thanks in advance.
How long did it take you to install that pool and I got to ask you couple things why don t you use the tripod legs to hold up end of wall instead of the sand racks and when ur setting your bottom track why put the blocks like that in front I didn t see you round the bottom track of u got to fix the track can t move it easy with block in front of plate you should put it under the plate and put a point in front of plate where you want block to be so when your checking for round blocks not in way once it’s whete u want it to be you should put point in front of the plate and block under plate so when setting blocks if you got to move it you still got point there and why not use transit to level blocks instead of laser level with a transit you can tell how much you have to go up or down with block the laser level just beeps when ur at height you want I never seen anyone us a laser level to set blocks before I been instilling pools since 1997 or 1998
Nice job. Im interested how flat did the bottom stay using a sand base once the weight of the water was on it after a few weeks ? I always have trouble was mine getting wrinkles where algae builds up along the lines. Cheers from New Zealand
I suggest u put a 4 inch concrete base, from experience those blocks will sink, we had gofers dig under the sand and eventually eat the lining, ot lasted 10 years, now having to renew the lining, my buddy didn't learn his lesson, he bought a pontoon boat instead of using on the pool and buying concrete ☹️
Very nice instruction

Our pleasure!
At 12:57 it looks like you are using a shop vac for something? What is going on there?

Did you install the top stabilizers and remove them when putting liner on?
What kind of level is that? I build custom gardens and i could use one for leveling the beds / building a personal aboveground pool.

Great Job , i wish i can do it like you in germany 🙂
What do you typically use for a base ... stone dust, or mortar sand, and how much would be needed for a 24 foot round above ground pool ?
I have seen sand placed but also some type of pad underneath so floor stays level .
I think you probably saw the pad that goes between the sand and the liner. The pad protects the liner from any small pointy objects (roots, twigs, small rocks) rubbing on or poking through the liner.
@mrlpz1636 check this video out. This may answer your question. ua-cam.com/users/shortsGBjLCCV7hrA?feature=share
Gorilla Pad is what I used above the sand, below the liner.

what’s the name or brand of these pools ??
If anybody follow these guys in how to build a pool you'll be all day on a 2 hour job
A 21 round is not 2 hours

Is this one complete sentence?
Did you need to get a permit to install this pool in Ohio?
How did you get out of the pool after putting it together?
Jump out of it..or a ladder..but fix sand after getting out, leaves marks in sand

The poolotool virtual assisted instructional program covers that issue and other advanced topics not covered on free youtube videos.
Seems like this would be alot more helpful if there was some commentary during the process...I have alot of questions after watching
You can start and end your pool installation investigation at my website, www.poolotool.com

This was a dumb UA-cam suggestion. It didn’t help. No commentary. It’s a sped up video, and a sales pitch to buy pdf’s at the website.
Oh yeah you should really lute and roll pools from the middle like you would cut a pizza samething if you sweep the sand to Finnish
For some people it might seem self explanatory but I'm watching this dumb video because I DONT know how to do it
