Rudy changes my life every time I watch it for about 15 minutes. Then the next movie or show starts.
On the 17th 7 1995 I watched RUDY for the first time. I said straight after watching it I want to meet him one day........... 3 and 1/2 years latter I tracked RUDY down and lunch with him in Las Vegas.... Never Quit on your Dreams #45
I love the movie Rudy! One of my best all time movies.
Rudy is my lifelong American hero. He inspires me to not give up and chase after my lifelong dream. That goal is the chance to be cast and perform on Broadway. One show that would I ultimately would love to be part of that comes to the Great White Way is to originate and play Rudy Ruettiger on stage if they ever make Rudy as a Broadway Musical. His story has a special place in my heart. Him and I have had people in our lives say that we're not talented, gifted, or good enough and laugh in our faces saying we're crazy. It only takes a little research to find out that most of this is true, maybe a little blown out of portion!!!!!!
Don’t lie about your life to sell movies is the biggest take away I got from this fraud of a story.

@@marcribaudo1965 It’s a great piece of fiction though you gotta admit that. But yeah, no. Never happened. At best the reality was closer to an interesting anecdote to share with your kid some day but certainly not worthy of a film claiming to be non-fiction that’s for sure. More like 10% reality and 90% Hollyweird.
