      Tsui Kagura Most people who’ve seen a lot of movies and know movie actors and their history, especially Rudy, know this. You do realize Sean Astin is Mikey from The Goonies, Samwise Gamgee from LOTR, Bob from Stranger Things, etc. And shoot, Vince Vaughn aka Jon 'Happy,' 'Jungle Book' 'Lion King,' 'Chef,' (and so many other shit) Favreau’s close friend is in Rudy and that’s where they met and have since done a shit ton of movies together.

      That was all fabricated. Divine planned to play him for one play at the end. No team member ever gave an ultimatum to Divine and the tackle was allowed to happen. BTW he never got carried off the field.

    The really funny thing is that JJ is actually a decent actor in this. Usually the athletes that made it on SNL were really fish out of water, which had its own charm. But JJ Watt is actually legit funny.

    This was a spoof about the movie, "Richard". Richard was a walk-on for Notre Dame back in 1990 & no one expected him to ever play. He eventually did play when the starting quarterback was suffering from clinical depression. Richard (played by Sean Astin) eventually won 7 straight games for Notre Dame & the national championship. He also won the Heisman Trophy that year & went on to play 6 season for the Atlanta Falcons. So, whenever you watch, "Richard", think of Richard Jankowski & all he suffered. Thank you.
