- I used Lindt Lindor chocolate bags, the cover of an old dictionary, toilet paper tubes, and fabric from a thrift store skirt to make this cute accordion-style book for @MRVICTORCRAFTER.

I really like this Shannon…. For many reasons: it’s recycled or upcycled, it looks easy to make but doesn’t look cheap when finished, it’s a good rationale to eat that delicious chocolate and last but not least, you’re doing something so nice for a fellow crafter that will definitely be appreciated! Howdydoo!!!!! Just a suggestion for the tying on part. You might could paperclip them on, and tack the ribbon, and then you wouldn't need to struggle with it so much. That's great that the book cover fell in with your color scheme!! What a lovely gift for Mr. Victor. Wonderful!

🔆Shannon this is SO wonderful!!! First of all, the book itself is marvelous. But, more than that, it’s so sweet that you’re sending it to Victor! I’ve worried about him ever since the war began, and was so relieved the first time you mentioned that you’d been in contact with him and that he was okay. Are you accepting things from subscribers to add to his box??? 🔆
Since we have no idea when we’ll be able to mail things, I am not collecting items at this time. I’ll let everyone know if that changes!

Shannon, this turned out so beautiful!! And do you want to know a secret? If you look on the back of the Lindt package, it says made in Kilchberg, Switzerland…I used to live there and the Lindt factory was in our village - the days they were making chocolate, if the wind was just right - you could smell it - so yummy!! 🍫. They had an outlet store at the factory - and the chocolates were so incredibly fresh! And I also took part in a champagne truffle making class - it was so much fun!! If you’re interested, I can email you a few pictures from there….amazing experiences! Thanks for sharing this project with us - you are so incredibly clever!

Pretty book. You're channel popped up on my list. I see you have a pretty sizeable channel going but I just wanted to offer a suggestion. Toss it out if you don't want it. I noticed early on that I was saying "so" a lot. I lost count in your video because it was very excessive. It really shows in a video.
What I do is while editing, every time I hear a"so"or "but um" which are my fall back words I edit them out. The more I edit the less I say them the next time. Now I usually only have a few. You may want to go back and listen to this video to see for yourself. I hope you don't see this as an aggressive post because I don't mean it as such at all. And your book was very clever. If I had use for such a book I'd make it. Very cute. And I like the book cover a lot. 😊

The bags were so pretty I went and bought a bag. Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Not a fan of the dark chocolate at all. All you can taste is cocoa. It came out beautiful. Thanks for showing the ending of it.
