...WOW, Shannon!...I also save the Lindt wrappers, they are so pretty. Really love the idea of using the price/scan code stickers for reinforcement. What I love about this whole process is...everything that is advertised & consumed, has to do with someone's perception of Design. And most of us just throw it away. I have incorporated most of your prompts into my artwork. Recently went thru my "stash" to whittle down the collection. ( just to acquire more STUFF)...there was another UA-camr that posted this same technique , but she cut the magazine horizontally, folded the pages back, etc. & made 2 small journals. I had success with that, but now I am excited to try this version, especially to use my collection of envelopes!...

I have the Wine Spectator Magazines and i use them in several different ways - one i made into "Pockets" by stapling every 3 pages together and then taking two of those and taping the edges to make pockets for storing - the other - well another 2 lol - i've used as "Paint Wipe Off" pages and oh my goodness are those wonderful and crunchy when they get wet - but as i was watching you I had a thought of making another one into 20 pages and do a JB5 - so many uses - thank you Shannon - enjoy your day xx

Maybe you said but... Are those mags the ones with a thicker weight paper or the typical grocery store mags? Also have u seen the half comp books?
I’ve seen those half books, super cute. The mags I used are similar to fashion magazines. The paper is a little heavier and nicer than something like Better Homes & Gardens but I wouldn’t hesitate to use just whatever is available to you.
