- In this video I review directly compare and talk about the differences between the original Kush Clariphonic and the Kush Clariphonic M/S. There are a few differences that make the M/S version better such as stepped pots and the obvious M/S capabilities. But is there a difference is terms of sound quality. We find out in this video.

Yes! More sound demo content in the future, please ✌🏻
I'm hearing a more pronounced, full bottom end on the original and a more crisp, wide stereo field in the M/S
both sound great, prefer the M/S as it seems to have a slightly more present top end and I mean it is a unit you only use to make music brighter so.
Ive been searching for the demo all day and just got this notification!
Great timing
To my ears the original has better staging prefer the "duller" tone over the m/s version all day. Comes down to taste and material it's on I suppose. Good comparison!!!
Very much down to taste. These demos are only at half the range. So you have the ability to go 50% more 50% less to taste.
OG's clearly sounding better but less features. For the air thing there's a lot of options out here.
I'm curious to see a comparison of the Clariphonic and 1951. (Obviously fully different units, but you mentioned 1951 replacing your Clariphonic possibly.) My main criticism of the Clariphonic is that you have to be *careful* with it! Easy to get way too harsh. I feel like I never push it more than 10-15% of it's range. If anything I could use less range on it, and I feel the "steps" are a bit too light, they don't hold their clicks/detents very well.
Yes agree with everything you say there which is why I have swapped it for the 1951. The 1951 I see as an exceptional high end tool for mastering. The kush I always saw as slightly budget more mid range in terms of quality. I'll do this comparison with the 1951 and kush.
I phoned SX Pro about this very unit today. Turns out that you have to buy them from the USA then pay the import duty. Definitely looking to replace my TK Audio Tkalizer with one of these though. Once again great videos. Would have been interested to hear your vote on the units though.
Yeah this is why I bought the older version second hand. I can't be dealing with all the import and shipping. I just want SX pro to get me one in and know the price. It's a shame they went down that route. Check Make Noise Pro Audio. They have 2 coming in stock next week. Shoot Sam an email and reserve it if you want. I spoke with him today about them.
I’m actually going to get a sonic farm creamliner 3 first. Maor Applebaum has one so they must be good and he speaks highly of it.
love it!!! What about the MS Plugin version???
Video coming soon. Will edit this video up over the weekend.
@@AudioAnimalsStudio Great news!!!
Is the MS versionin MId Side mode in these demos? Also do you find it alters the low end at all?
For a fair test mid side is off
Oh crumb... they brought out a new thing!!!
Glad Kush aren't fading away
It isn't new. The MS version out a good few years now. But they are still very much in production.
I really wanna ask where I can buy the kush audio product in uk😭
Make Noise Pro Audio have 2 in stock at the moment in the UK
@@AudioAnimalsStudioI am really thinking whether I need this one if I would also like to purchase a 1951. What do you think😢
@larrylin5120 Well, put it this way I swapped out both my Kush Clariphonics for 1951 EQs.
@@AudioAnimalsStudioI got you!
They are the same , no change
