Apple - "Let's Take A Trip Down The Rhine" - An Apple A Day... (1969)

Despite several of its tracks containing peak psych-era songwriting, the relatively late release date of Apple's sole album put it a bit behind the times, rendering it one of the most obscure and forgotten treasures from the UK psychedelic era. It's no surprise, then, that An Apple A Day has never seen a reissue from the original master tapes, with an early-'90s vinyl rip to DAT tape being continually remastered for various record labels. Here is what a new transfer from a pristine original copy sounds like.
