I love this one! I used to play "The Bomb Song" on my Internet radio show in my college days back in the early 2010s. The CD was impossible to find back then, and no one had the song on UA-cam, so I used to play it straight off of the original vinyl. You just can't beat good ol' Country Joe!

This is wonderful to see his collaborators and boy does he run a tight band….considering how many diverse elements - for heavens sake there is a Jaltarang in there…..everyone is bang on the beat. Thank you Maestro Ananda - that flautist - i think he stuck with Ananda in the early years and he was/is translucent in his playing. Namaste

My favorite Beefheart album (well maybe Lick My Decals Off Baby). I am 69 and have been a fan since like 1968, Don (Capt.) died many years ago. RIP Beefheart. Trout Mask Replica was a crazy masterpiece in its time, but not that easy to listen to now.

I saw Ainsleys excellant Band many times at Londons Marquee Club in Wardour st think i was about 16 at the start loved his arrangements and John Moreshead s solo s not the best sound quality here but it brings back the powere of this band to me I had their first 2 Vynal LPs but to me they were as hot as Cream Fleetwood Mack with Peter Green and Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewpot who i also saw many times Legends and a lasting musical influence Thanks for posting

Wow I grew up in the late 60s early 70s never heard of these guys until just now while I was in the hospital having a A toe amputated my diabetes got the best of me but at least I had some really cool music to listen to
