I Used This Same Procedure On Your Right Front Axle On Your 09 Subaru

Actually you can put scissor jack betweet transmission and frame after transmission mount is removed and jacked up and cv axle will pop out.

Finally Have Another Subby In For A Clutch. Removed The One Bolt I Believe Your Talking About Plus The Lower Link Bolt, Worked Great As Long As That Bolt Is Not Seized. I May Have To Do A Updated Video. Thanks For Watching
