Thanks! It worked! I could not use the permissions (it was greyed out) , so I just bypassed it. Took out sim card, cleared data, forced stop, put card back in, and restarted phone. I could not make calls or text for the last few hours. Websites worked though, Android Phone. I was also afraid I was going to lose my Data, (pics, ect). I did not. Thanks again!

just do what it says in the vid. my other sim card works in my phone too but the other one doesnt, so i tried following it and it worked

I dont know why
I tried but failed. I took out the simcard and use rubber eraser on the copper contact. Insert back, alrite good to go. Oxidised contacts also cause the problem.

No, only if you do a factory reset. Just back up your phone to iCloud or computer before doing

Angel H you can hook the phone up to laptop or computer and manually move the pics to a folder on your computer or use an app to back up everything like titanium restore app on pc or laptop. I use google drive or just google but I’ve lost pictures it does not do full back up.
I haven’t fully watched this video, I gave up on a buncha failed attempts. Good luck

When I do it and reinsert my sim card, it shows full network with no cross for say 5 seconds, and then again it goes back to the same problem, no network and a cross. Any idea how to fix this?

Nothing changed. The network still show the staircase icon, but the phone is still "checking..." for the sim card for hours. Lucky if yall phones work like that dude's.

I have a question Mr yendry Cayo tech so once you take out the sim card and restart your phone is it going to loose everything like i have a videogame its called call of duty mobile and its one of my favorite games on phone, im a going to loose everything and restart the whole game again.
This won't affect data on your phone. The SIM card only allows your phone to connect to a mobile network. It is not connected to your phone's storage and not the same thing as a micro SD card. :)
