  • This time I got to the Snowy Depths, but was obliterated shortly after. Still felt pretty good about this run. Thanks for all the great tips I have received. Could not do it without you!
    The Challenge/Goal:
    Basically the challenge is to get one of the endings of Noita. I don't know how long will it take, but I try my best.
    About The Game:
    Noita is a magical action roguelite set in a world where every pixel is physically simulated. In this game, you’ll fight, explore, melt, burn, freeze, and evaporate your way through a procedurally generated world using spells you’ve created yourself. The environment is richly interactive, with pixel-based physics allowing you to burn, explode, or melt anything. Swim in the blood of your foes, manipulate the world, and delve deeper into caverns as you uncover unknown mysteries. Noita is being developed by Nolla Games.

    Keep going at it! You're making huge progress :) Snowy Depths is where the game really gets hard.
    TIP:
    While you're in each Holy Mountain (the safe zones between areas), you can open your inventory, and rearrange which spells go where in each wand. With this, you can make your own wands. Wand building is extremely important to mastering noita, so I strongly reccomend you look into it. You should also try and explore more and get more gold.
    Otherwise, you're doing amazing!

      Just recorded day 5 and rearrange the spells. Day 5 is twice as long as this one. I'm concentrating on exploring and gold. Thanks for the tip!

    My goodness, it's so satisfying to watch you learn this game frome bare basics... looking forward to you discovering wand tinkering ;)
    You have my sub, keep going! ♡

    From 4 minutes a run to 11, almost 3 times more than previous runs
    I know you probably don't need any more motivation than you've already gotten from the tens of comments left on every video, but I really do love to see more people start playing the game (I'm not an expert myself, only about 60 hours clocked in at the time but almost 200 deaths! 2 wins though [technically 1 but the other I went exploring after killing the final boss and died while doing so])

    Pro tip : put your first wand slot and your water bottle on hotkeys.
    I like having my water on shift and my wand on mousebutton4 for a quicker reaction to fire or harmful stains
    Also, a good technique to dodge the shotgunners at the start, is to start levitating when you hear them cock the gun !

    Wow, i just found your channel and i have to say you are progressing so much so fast congrats.
    A little tip from me would be to keybind you itemslot 5 (which should be water most of the time) to something more easily accessible like Q to easily get stains off.
    Water is very important in every run and i hope the day will come that i will see your runs go for hours best of wishes.

    Flask tips:
    -You can drink straight from a flask by right clicking on it.
    -Fastest way to get stain on you is to spray up and fly up at the same time. (Or spray down and fall)
    -Your can fill your flasks by holding them in liquids. Good idea to always fill your water flask when visiting holy mountains.
    -April 8 update introduced few new things:
    ·Potion Reactions
    ·Potion Content Percentages.

    • @Bl4start
      @Bl4start  16 днів тому

      Can I fill a flasks with water even though there is different liquid? Thanks for these tips!

    • @TheGingusa
      @TheGingusa 15 днів тому

      @@Bl4start a flask has a total content of 100% so if your at 70% water you can fill the other 30% with blood or whatever. liquids that react to each other can do so in the flask in the newest update by shaking it around with your mouse but thats more advanced noita stuff anyway. don't worry about it right now

    • @aati
      @aati 15 днів тому

      @@Bl4start yes. If your flask is 40% full of slime, and you fill it with water, it will have 40% slime and 60% water. If your flask is 99% toxic sludge, adding 1 pixel of water will convert it all to water. (Thanks to alchemy and potion reactions). Getting something like lava to your water flask can convert it all to steam so watch out! :D

    wow, So much improvement since the last day of gameplay
    a few tips about wands:
    . Wand stats are the most important part of a wand
    . You can swap your spells on your first and second wand after the first level to get a really fast firing wand
    . You want low recharge rate to fire faster on wands

    • @Bl4start
      @Bl4start  16 днів тому +1

      Yeah this was a good one! Just recorded day 5 and rearrange the wand stats. That low recharge rate is a good one!

    Tons of improvement. Only thing I'd say is that this game heavily rewards patience and exploration.

    your hp bar is the measure of how long you want to stay in the level. you don't want to go deeper unprepared

      Yeah That's a good one. Day 5 already includes me not going straight to the portal. if I find a portal I will explore the other parts of the cave and retreat to the portal if necessary.

    litle tip but very important
    move the spells around on your wands to make something good

    • @Bl4start
      @Bl4start  15 днів тому

      Yeah that's a very important one. Day 5 will be me experimenting with different spell. Tune for tomorrow and give me a feedback how I did.

    The wand you purchased was a really shitty one. Take the time to look at the wand stats, you wants something with as little Cast delay and recharge time (cast delay is the time between the spells, recharge time is the time the wand needs to recharge after all spells have been fired) and as much mana max and mana charge speed as possible. The one in the middle had goods stats. More slots are also good, and a low Spread makes it easier to aim.

    I just got your video in my recommended, consider having yourself a new subscriber :)
    Also, I think I'll also record todays daily and upload it myself and send you the link so you can watch how other people play that seed. I'll try to keep it relatively spoiler free.
    Edit: Do you also play other runs in between the daily runs?

    • @Bl4start
      @Bl4start  15 днів тому

      Big Thanks!
      Yeah go ahead. I don't play between the runs so it can be frustrating to die early on. For now I have just read other peoples tips on the comment section and try to come up with plan to keep the game going longer.

    With my limited experience with the game I'd say don't be afraid of experimenting. Beating Noita is a marathon not a sprint and it's mostly based on knowledge gained.
    You might lose a run due to experimenting. But as long as you learned something from it, it wasn't a failed run imo.

    • @Bl4start
      @Bl4start  15 днів тому +1

      I'll do only one run a day so I don't want to experiment too much. It would be frustrating to die but I guess you are right. In the long run it would be better to be familiar with items and spells so that I don't die for some stupid reason. Thanks for the tip!
