Lyrics:
I can’t say that I’m sorry when I don’t feel so wrong anymore
I can’t tell you I’m tryin’ when there’s nothin’ left here to try for
I don’t know how it’s happened
That we’ve both abandoned the reason we used to believe
Was it love that we shared
When we easily cared?
Now it’s impossible to conceive
I don’t know who can see you
if you’ve ever learned how to let someone in
Well I’ve tried to come find you but I just don’t know where to begin
If you’ve ever been open, well there’s no way of knowin’
With the way that knowin’ you has been
Was it always so broken
If these thoughts were spoken
Would it bring us together again?
Well I won’t be the one to keep holding you back
if there’s somethin’ you’re missin’ then go right ahead
I’ll be long gone, thanks for the songs,
Guess It’s time to wake up from the trip we’ve been on
So long farewell, this is the end
I’ll always remember you just like a friend
And the way that you said
-as heavy as lead
Oh you’ve always known how to get straight to my head
“Thanks for the free ride and all of the good times!”

Angel Olsen - All The Good Times (Official Video)
#AngelOlsen #AllTheGoodTimes #BigTime
It’s been really special to work with director Kimberly Stuckwisch.
I’m so proud of how our visions came together, making videos is always a bit like chasing a tornado, but I had such a fun time- I even learned how to drive a stick shift on Big Tujunga Canyon Road!
This video is really down-home and comforting. Nicely done. Beautiful song, too. Thanks for another banger, Angel!
Great song. When you were driving that jeep and the mountainside came into full view, whoaa, that was beautiful. I gotta go there someday!
I love how cinematic your music videos are. Really beautiful works of art. The images and scenery and colors are so pleasing.
Angel 💕 I adore you!
🥲
Angel Olsen is one of the artists that defined the 2010s for me. I've held onto every note she's sung like a prayer, almost - from the summit of joy to the gallows of complete despair, her music has been there to animate those feelings somewhat. I'll never get to see her live, being that I live in South Africa, but if I ever got the chance to do so it'd certainly count among the greatest moments in my life.
Agreed
ditto
My sentiments exactly as a fan who lives in Uganda.
Whats her best album?
go and see if u can, i ve been lucky to see her live twice
This song drops on the day I find out I'm getting divorced. It's pretty healing so far.
Me too! 👊
It's definitely that old-school box of tissues, country. Not a country fan, but you can't deny the magnetism of this woman's voice and style.
Merry Christmas. Hope your getting through it. 💜🕊️
Same.
For me, Angel is an American icon. She deserves all the love. G'day from Sydney, Australia.
Seeing Angel during their last tour was probably the last time I truly felt human lol. I stood there alone in a crowd of people, so close to the stage, acutely aware that I was alive. Probably the first time I’ve cried in public. I love you Angel thank you for what you do
I've always thought angel had a 'country' singer voice. I really like this direction she's going in
Have you listened to Half Way Home yet? Lots of country/folk jams on that one. I'm pumped to see her dipping her toes back in those waters.
Oh, also the Bonnie "Prince" Billy albums she's on. If you haven't heard the Now Here's My Plan (particularly "After I Made Love to You" ua-cam.com/video/FSO2SqwI-cI/v-deo.html) you're seriously missing out!
lol this new direction of hers
This just reminds me so much of Hope Sandoval
she's from St. Louis! listen to her old albums. she started in the folk/country scene.
she never disappoints, one of the most consistent songwriters in the indiesphere at the moment
women desperately running through a deserted landscape will always be my favorite genre of music!
And No one does it better than Angel
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Body by Julia jacklin
Theodore Bundy.
Lucinda Williams vibes
When I saw Angel Olsen live for the Wild Hearts tour she went on a monologue for the closeout of this song (which I feel is something that probably happens in country music? ie having a spoken word outro) The monologue itself was delivered in a playful tone but certainly about a past relationship and how silly it is for it to have ended. (My recollection is something like: "six years for what? Some memories?") Anyway, I saw her a second time last night and this time she had a little monologue about how she found true love and how easy it is to love her partner now. (And maybe not so coincidentally she did NOT play "All The Good Times") I just love this juxtaposition for her. Seems like in the year and a half since I last saw her she's found some good changes in her life and been able to let go of the past. Even as just a fan I'm happy for her and hope for the best
Can't wait, caught a 7 hour train to Paris at start of 2020 just to see Angel perform - no regrets.
@R CH truth! That concert was amazing, first time in France, made up for the sucky parts of Paris 😅
I was there. It was such a good show
Awesome, Kostia it was! When someone yelled 'I love you Angel!' and she replied 'Papa, c'est toi?' lol. Were you the person eating an apple and reading the Grapes of Wrath in front of me? I knew in that moment it would be a great show.
Brilliant good on you the power of music! And a artist you follow😎😎
2 years ago what does that have to do with this new album

Thanks for the free ride and all of the good times
the instant calm and comfort she brings with her voice...
Omg I know right. Idk if anyone else thinks this but she sounds like Stevie Nicks which is a very good thing at least to me.
This is like a parallel of the lark music video but instead of saying goodbye to heartache she’s letting go of her past selves and moving forward 🥹
Omg that glitter wig is back! 🤍🤍
Love you Angel
Most wonderful heartbreaking powerful music video ✨✨❤️
This is her "I'm-taking-my place-next-to-the-greats" song. It's SO good, my god.
The wig from Shut Up Kiss Me?! Icon behavior 😍😍😍
I needed something good to cry at 3:00 am after the euphoric blast that was Motomami
I actually thought it was an old artist from the 60s or something. It has a nostalgic sound to it. I love it 😀
Why does it feel like I've known this song all my life? There's a classic beauty to this track that I can't help loving.
The feminine urge to burn poetry in the woods
Linda, Linda, Linda ... (beautiful, beautiful, beautiful) ... just like Lisboa singing a Blue fado .... you're amazing ... Love from PORTUGAL ... saudades .... (miss you)
Angel Olsen will make you cry over a lover that doesn’t exist. Her song writing skill is just remarkable. This song reminds me of how I fell in love with Chance from All Mirrors ❤️. What a time to be alive
I loved Chance! Such a good song.
@@olakunlealao5403 I started listening to it after this song. It’s so beautiful
HAHAHA SAME!
Yes. ❤
"If you've ever been open, well theres no way of knowin
with the way knowin you has been"
nailed it
Angels voice is really reminiscent of the "hip" country women singers of the 60's I heard as a child...like Bobbie Gentry, June Carter Cash
Tammy Wynette and Lynn Anderson.
i have a feeling this is going to somewhat of a return to form of My Woman, specifically the second half, which happens to be my absolute favorite by her :D i’m so excited
Another stunner. Damn. Getting a Dusty Springfield vibe, and I’m here for it.
Already song of the year
Same ❤️
Her voice flows through my soul and make me a better person.🌻
beautiful music as always and i missed that silver wig! so excited for this album
Okay but can we talk about how the lyrics perfectly depict the feeling of being sad and tired at the same time and how they are built like a climax? A pure gem, thank you Angel 💙
The Growlers, Angel Olson, Lord Huron. On a music binge right now❤
This is good music for the soul, I’m feeling nostalgic for no reason.
Thumbs up if you love this
felt the same way!!! the power this woman holds!!
I've realized that all my favorite music makes me feel nostalgic for some imaginary time, lol.
Getting serious Roy Orbison vibes from this, love it!
Congratulations Angel, you vulnerable genius ❤️ thank you for singing for my complicated heart
I love you angel thank you for being so open and proud of your queer relationship it means so much to us gays ❤️ and thank you for the beautiful tunes ofcourse
Love the video and song, in fact I love the entire album it's just fantastic, her best yet I think. Glad she has found a happy relationship ☺️❤
New album, new sound. Love love love!
I love the Angel Olsen Cinematic Universe
It’s ✨TIMELESS✨
this is the saddest song i've ever heard. i love it.
Incredible song, I have chills, you never miss, Angel

What an out of body experience i will listen to this song on loop forever
I LOVE all the metaphorical symbolism in this music video!! Especially the pandora's box! Continue to slay, queen!!
What other symbolism do you notice? Genuinely curious. Seems like there are nods to earlier music videos: the silver wig, the fire pit, the underwater scenes, the pickup truck.. Excuse me nerding out, lol.
@@Askalott I noticed those too! The other symbolism I noted was the dreamy, water faded filming style which (to me) suggests that her memory of their relationship could have just been a dream or is blurred when she looks back on it. There's also the scene where she's chasing after the car and then it shows that she's actually driving said car which symbolizes both the desire to have a love/relationship that can overpower you and/or knock you down, and that maybe the whole relationship was single sided and she was only trying to keep it going for her own sake. It's all very poetic and sentimental!
As you two seem to be up on things , am I just too old to work out how it is a person can be going through a painful breakup , write a hella great song about it and then make a hella great video starring themselves AND the person they’re breaking up with
or have already broken up with ? Do people born in the 80s just have insanely thick skin or (?)…what am I missing with this story? I’ve carefully read a few accounts and an interview VERY carefully and still … I’m confused. Thoughts ? Ty
Wow, I really enjoyed the twang in this. Brought me back to when I was kid and my Mom was washing dishes while listening to 'I never promised you a rose garden' by Lynn Anderson.❤
Unbelievable. An instant song of the year contender. Takes its place along side "Lights Out" as my favorite Olsen songs.
The production on this track is absolutely stunning.
She's a star with a legend's voice.
Good to see some real throwback country. Beautiful ❤
Such a cheerful way to say goodbye
Thank you, Angel Olsen. Looking forward to seeing you perform in August.
Loving a man will drive you absolutely bonkers.
I never thought I would want to go to North Carolina but now that I know that is where Angel resides I’ve never wanted to go more than ever, specifically Asheville. It looks stunning and flourishing with queer culture
Angel Olsen and Jonathan Wilson - a collaboration created in my dreams!
Fabulous song. Enjoying this in Adelaide, Sth Australia ❤️
sydney Australia here
Sydney too love her music.
Quero te vê no 🇧🇷... Please!
São Paulo. 🤩❤️
My body is ready
My body is my temple my heart is one too... the only thing that still fits me is this black bathing suit 🥴😂😂👙
All I can picture in my mind when I hear this song is sitting in my backyard with a bathing suit and sunglasses on watching a nuke drop while drinking a milk shake. 😎
Achingly, achingly perfect. ✨
An American Classic

*You’re amazing stay blessed, stay safe and have a amazing rest of your day*
I have watched this several times and I think there are a number of reasons for that. It's a great video, as well as a really nice song. The photo of her mother that makes it so real. And the shots of a queer relationship, because as a queer person who so deeply loves music, it's just really sweet and comforting to see. I find myself longing to identify with the music I love but it's not always possible when it's straight women singing. I caught your use of the word "they" in "Like I Used To", Angel, and honestly it meant the world.
Going through the hurt of infidelity, I feel this. I just don't know which side it comes from, and that's beautiful. Painful. True.
It hurts so much.. I'm dying. 4 years and she left me. In one week she has seen at least 2 guys and started talking with her ex. Her excuse to breakup was she needed to work on her university work. She postponed her university work for next year.
Mazzy Star vibes!!
What an amazing voice...
What a spectacular song...
Song of the year definitely!! ❤️❤️
I think so. 💜
is king by florence + the machine
Gorgeous art, always❣️
You have such a special gift
I went to see Angel in Portland once, and I wore a new pair of boots I’d just gotten. I walked to the venue, and my un-broken-in boots KILLED my feet. I took off my boots and stood in the audience in socks :+) I remember the violinist and the cellist that played with her were so effing good my jaw hung open most of the show
I like everything she does. Been a fan for so long. Angel is truly an angel.
saw you at hinterland. after a decade of your music in my life- it was amazing. you were phenomenal.
full body chills! country era queeeeen
Angel is moving closer and closer to the Grand Ole Opry.
I’m definitely picking up a ‘Mazzy Star’ vibe she’s laying down.. I’m diggin’ it..nice tune
love you mother
I am shocked... I discovered you thanks to a serial... sugar... I am delighted with your work.
Merci pour cette parenthèse Juliette, take care
I adore this song. Beautiful voice, lyrics and music. Major classic country vibes. Beautiful!!!
❤️

Absolute masterpiece..... amazing vocals and such a haunting song.
Thank you for blessing us yet again Angel
That voice.
Loved the Beau touch, very sentimental and real. ❤️ Angel Forever
I hope the whole album leans into the country influences like the first half of this track. Could be great.
Nice song. Silky vocals. Always welcome new Angel material. Can't wait for the album.
THE WIG MADE ITS RETURN!!
Wish we could listen Angel Olsen all the time
This song.....
Absolutely love love love it.
Love the old stuff, this new, too.
I'm here for it alllll.😁🥰😘
Heartfelt, wistful and with a healthy dose of inspiration from classic country and Americana. I love the song and video to bits.
Great story telling with the editing. I really like the bridge crescendo section, great job Ellis!!
Is there anything this woman can’t do? Instant classic.
Stunning and soulful, I’ve come to expect nothing less from your music. Thank you for sharing your art, it has inspired me over the years ❤️
Voice of an angel. Magnificent.
I love that this song is a simple ode to moving on from a relationship, yet the video allows it to bloom into something more all-encompassing. Change is an inevitable part of life, and it can affect us emotionally, spiritually, physically, down to our very cells. It can feel like breaking up with a past version of yourself. No doubt it's painful to let go, but a new chapter can be equally beautiful and exciting.
The way she says "Anymore" is wow ! I felt like I've never heard this word before
So underrated song.
Probably the best thing you've ever done, Angel - the song is stunning and the video is perfect (mind you, I never expected anything less!!!) Can't wait for 3rd June - it promises to be unbearably good.....
Just a beautiful song, all heart. Love the production too
What can I say when everything you make is pure art. This was so, so moving. The lyrics, the music and the video. You're one of my favorites ever and I'm really looking forward to seeing you live in Spain. Love u
such a gorgeous video for a gorgeous song wow. i can't wait to hear the new album
Amazing! So beautiful.
Amazing tune!!! Applause 👏
WOW, How Very powerful, i Love this song!!
