When Noah built the ark, why did he do it?
The first natural born citizens of earth, Cain and Abel, brothers…one murders the other.
The fall, Adam blames Eve, and does not stand up and take blame for his own actions, thus hoping she would be destroyed in his hope for his own self-preservation.
You can go all the way back to the beginning of humanity, and see that there has not been TRUE peace and love anywhere.
We always watch out for ourselves first and that topsy-turvy thinking is the beginning of war in the hearts of humanity against humanity.
We are in a downward cycle on earth right now, but it is no different than it has ever been.
I bet tomorrow, at some point during the day, even I will create a little war with someone, whether visibly, or invisibly, which will return some form of vengeance upon me throughout the day.

Jesus is God. He didn’t die to atone Himself to Himself.
Jesus Christ died to enter into death, and to destroy death by Resurrection. It was not to pay some penalty in my stead.
Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.

Thank you brother Phil.. Listening to your voice and your mannerisms makes me cry sometimes.. You sound just like my Granddaddy. I can close my eyes and listen and it takes me back to times when he would Teach us about the bible. We went to church but Granddaddy directed us to not just read our bibles on Sundays and Wednesday night. From as far back as I can remember we read our bibles every evening and every morning, and we was encouraged to read our bibles when we had other free time. Granddaddy would do his best to explain something different in the Bible every evening after supper. Today I'm so grateful for what he did! he not only taught us about Jesus but he taught us to be thinking of him all the time. and if your thinking of Jesus all the time your going to be kind and nice to everyone .. He taught us to love our neighbor and to give them the shoes off our feet if they need them. but he also taught us and showed us how to standup to the bad ones and the people who do not love their neighbor or would hurt us or our neighbors. and that includes our and our neighbors property. he also would teach us to still love the ones who dont love us and to try and help them, have a meal with them, take them hunting, take them fishing. My Granddaddy was a God loving REAL MAN.. Brother Phil You are a REAL MAN If I could be a 20th of the man you are... and my granddaddy was I would consider myself a great man! I know you cant possibly read all the comments you get.. I get emotional when I hear your post because like I said your voice sounds just like the greatest man I've ever known and you talk about the same things he would talk about. I cant tell you how many time's I've heard him tell people "that around here we eat dinner at around 11:45- noon" our evening meal is supper. I've even had to explain it to some people also. Just like you did on the tv show my Granddaddy told me to pic a wife that could cook. I heard that 20 years before the tv show from him.

@@custerranch You will not be saved by water baptism. We as the church get our doctrine from the epistles of Paul today. Ephesians 2:8-9 says we are saved grace through faith and this is not of yourselves, it is a gift of God not by works lest any man shall boast. Water baptism is a work and we are not saved by our good works but by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. If you want to know more, there is a UA-cam channel called Robert Breaker and he has a video on water baptism.
@@custerranch I don’t say this to offend you but to make sure your salvation is not works based, but only by faith in the blood of Jesus. Water baptism is great and we should do it but it does not wash away your sins. Only by the blood of Jesus Christ will your sins be washed away. Paul also says in 1 Corinthians 1:14 “I thank God that I did not baptize any of you except Crispus and Gaius,”

A faith without works is dead anyway. - James 2:14-17 and also verse 24.
And if baptism doesn't wash away sins, why Saul was commanded to "Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins."
@@custerranch I’m sorry but you’re taking that verse out of context. The one about James is not talking about you doing good works for salvation, it is saying if you’re saved then you should do good works, not the other way around. Faith without works shows that you have dead faith and your faith in Jesus was never real because you don’t have any fruit in your life. Works is not for salvation otherwise it would contradict Ephesians 2:8-9.

The primary thing needs to be clear first. " Whoever believes in Me has eternal Life. " Is what Lord Jesus said.

Would love to know, what edition of the Bible it is Phil Robertson is reading from, I got 2 English Bibles (Catholic) and 1 Danish Bible, and none of them, has the concordance.
You need to spend more time with us city folk... I call everything dinner! Also, us Texans don't use measuring cups, we eyeball everything, cause I can't follow a recipe if my life depended on it, but I can tell ya, the most important ingredient of any meal, is prayer. I always pray, "God help me, and compensate for my lack of ability in preparing my meal!", and God has taught me how to make homemade bread, chicken soup, noodles, chicken fried steak, and roast beef soup, though I don't cook that much anymore, cause good luck finding any meat in the packages these days: The "enlightened" and "unlocked" think we're all fat so they're serving out small portions at outrageous prices, lest we eat well, and breed like rabbits.
