Thanks for the video. We just purchased ours 2 days ago. Same exact set up as yours. Color and all. Ours did come with the power box also. We LOVE it. Looking forward to more videos about your Willys.
Very informative video, thanks for posting. I just bought a new 2023 leftover, old school, bare bones, Sarge green Willys with a 3.6 and stick. I can't wait to try it out.
I have a 2024 Willys 4xe same as you. You hit on some great points. I ordered mine almost as soon as I could. Naturally it came with the old grille which they have since replaced for free. I was also led to believe the power box would be included with my purchase and was very disappointed when it was not. Still love the vehicle overall though and hope to hold onto it for a very long time.
I don't think you will miss much with the power box delete. I doubt you could run much with it for very long. I have it on my Sahara but can't think of a situation where I will use it. We'll see?
Hey Scott. I am looking at the high altitude 2024 ... can i ask you .. does it make a lot of noise on highway? maybe do a decimeter noise test. .. roof down going 40 / 60 / 75 miles an hour. Open and closed .. what you think?
Is it hard to keep that white fabric dash clean ? Not sure why jeep would put that in a offroad vehicle when it was meant to be driven in dust and dirt
4xe not practical where I live no chargers within 30 mins drive 😒 but i ordered a rubicon 2024 instead i love the upgraded stereo size compared to my 2022 sport s and thankfully im able to get yhr tuscadero paint again ❤ I hope Im happy with it as much as i am with my sport. Your willys looks amazing with that blue accents
I am happy with the 4xe part so far. I get really excited finding a free charger in the city, its liking finding a treasure, ha, I also like the torque and smoothness in E mode around town. That being said I think your gas rubicon will hold its value a lot better.
Be careful because those cheap Amazon chargers are a pain in the ass after 6 months to a year and your Jeep will start doing some crazy stuff and multiple trips to the dealership I went ahead and bought grizz-e charger and it was better than the cheap Amazon chargers
Great video! I am thinking about purchasing the Willys 4xe. I commute 50 miles to and from work (25 there and 25 back) - In your opinion(s) would it be beneficial to still get the 4xe to essentially knock off roughly 1 trip there and gas on the way home. Is it worth it... my mind is telling me yes but my heart is saying no. Also, this will not only be my daily but me and the boys are out camping all the time on the weekends as well.
Why not get the unlimited or Rubicon? How much did you pay? I know you could have grabbed the High Altitude and all of those options would have been included for the same price. Right??
No, the Rubicon would’ve been a lot more especially the high altitude. the sticker price was around 65 but with all the incentives they got paid around 53
I was told if the Jeep is not set up for it from the manufacturer they’ll never work. So basically, you will only work on Rubicon and Sahara. Maybe the 392 not sure.
Looks just like mine and we love ours but the power cord that comes with it is garbage and we had to buy a replacement because 15/16 to charge is a joke
@@ScottsReviews lol not at all .about every 3 years I buy a new vehicle however the last 3 have been Jeep’s because I haven’t had any issues like I have had with many other new vehicles. I purchased a 2008 dodge caravan for my wife’s business it had the best reviews but I guess I bought a lemon because 2400 miles had to put brakes on it under warranty of course but 3 brake jobs later and time is money if it’s a work vehicle we kept that vehicle for 5 years with countless issues at 108,000 miles it blew a head gasket if not for blue devil head gasket stuff I would have never gotten $1800 out of it and yes I told the person who bought it from me lol
@CRABlife-iv6fv actually if you’re driving in town we really don’t use gas and on the freeway we put it into e save it charges the battery so when we get in town we put it into electric. We hardly use hybrid as saving money yes you can . My recommendation is to get a 220 cord we got ours from Home Depot for $170 and we already had 220 plug in the garage . If I could afford it I would have bought to 4xe lol
Our taco OR lease is almost up and the willys 4xe's are making a compelling argument with the current incentives - but no power box? Insane, especially when it was marketed as such. Bait and switch. Maybe I will just look into the new tacos.
Sweet. I wish they worked on the electric hybrid thing more. 21 miles is a bit ridiculous, but I guess if it cuts down on gas and commutes are short, (plus the rebates), it's worth it. I only need a 2-door but seems they don't make the 4xe in 2-doors. Love the Willys (pronounced "will-is" I've learned). That retractable roof is awesome.
Way too complicated for having an electric vehicle... I buy gas I go fill it up and I drive I don't have to worry about electrical whatever at the home
That’s not a jeep. It’s a rolling nightmare of things to go wrong. If you want a real jeep get one that’s a TJ without all that junk. Mine has a 5 speed manual transmission, push locks, and manual roll down windows. It’s not quite and is a little rough and tumble but it’s a real Jeep.
Awesome! Just picked up my new Willys 4xe few weeks back. Joining the journey!

Helpful review for those like me shopping. Appreciate the time you put into it.
Great video and really good points towards the end of the video. Thank you Scott.

Awesome. I am really enjoying the vehicle, but I don’t buy extended warranties much on cars but this one I think I’m gonna do it. Ha

Sucks about the power box. I own a 22 rubicon and I'm out of the deal, too. But it was never promised to me, so...

Thanks for your honesty I to wanted the electric generator!
I just bought the 24 willys with same black color too. Traded in 23 Sahara 4xe soft top. i like the Willys better
Finally on my first road trip. I wish the electric mileage was longer. Ha
My Sahara isn't getting the power box.
That’s ridiculous. Was it deleted from the window sticker
Yes, the dealer said it was a supply issue. @@ScottsReviews

What type of gas does this use? I heard recommended premium but it can also use regular. Is it good for the engine to run on regular gas?
The manual says 87 however, it says 91 to operate at optimal engine performance

one touch roof is a no brainer best feature
So does the jeep in this price range have a LOCKING gas cap.............?
Yes
Why Your seats are manual ?
The automatic electric seats are on the Sahara and Rubicon

The issue is also the dealer cant even add it in to make the deal. Its the hardware within the Jeep input box.
Enjoy the new ride. Safe travels.
Thanks !
Nice video. I got the same model (different color), but my power box actually works.
@@liliu1680 you got an inverter on a Willys. ?
@ yes
@ is it a 2025?
@@ScottsReviews no, a 2024 model
@ well good for you, but that upsets me. Ha.
You can purchase the model with the soft top and drop any time you want :)
They don't offer leather with that Jeep Willys
Correct
Really good information, thank you.
Why black?
Great video thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Good work.😊
Thanks 😊
Just wait for the dreaded service charging system.

I just paid $52k for a 2024 rubicon 4xe with 160 miles.
What was the MSRP on it?
@@ScottsReviews $65k. It was leased and the lessor didn’t like it and returned it. So technically it was used.
Way too complicated for having an electric vehicle... I buy gas I go fill it up and I drive I don't have to worry about electrical whatever at the home
Right..except for the battery...the alternator... ignition switch... spark plug...fuses...
You do know it’s hybrid so you don’t need to use electric
They nickel & dime you just like the Germans on their Mercedes Benz & BMW the fanboys for those vehicles won't admit to that. 👎🏾👎🏾
Don't blame me on the stereo man you got to have the good stereo
