I know this is a guitar play through but can I just say the instrumental as a whole a sick! I’m not sure what it is, i think it’s like synth sounds, but it sounds so nice in the background! Flat out amazing!

I played this way for 18 of my 20 years playing guitar, and learning a new technique forced me to learn the standard grip instead of protruding like that. This grip is great for really wide chugs, and I still use it for chugging larger chords. It's not uncomfortable because I didn't know anything different. The normal grip felt incredibly uncomfortable to me when I started.
You can also see a guitarrist from Archespire does the same thing.

    • @alexbrown4426

Because this guitar requires Verrrrrry soft picking; it's a 25.5 scale and can barely handle B standard. He basically has to do this in order to stay in tune. Worst fucking 7 string ever made.

I bought this guitar before even knowing Chris did a video with it, this is an incredible guitar. It is so well made. As other reviews have mentioned, the pickups are a little weird. It's subtle but if you really listen there's just a strange jazzy funk sound coming from the pickups, even after raising the pickup height. I will be replacing them with BareKnuckle Nailbombs. This guitar absolutely shreds and is well balanced, comfortable to play, a little heavier than it looks as a solid block of ash wood, the neck is literally perfect it conforms so well to your hand and it's not too thin or too thick its just perfect. Intonation is dead on and changing it to G# was a breeze with the included multi-tool from Ibanez. I also slightly adjusted the truss rod because the neck bow was a little much for my taste out of the box. Right now I have Elixir 10's with a low 62 but plan on switching to D-Addario 11-64's permanently for drop G# or drop G depending on string tension. Amazing guitar, worth every penny and I would buy another one!

Along with my tab book/GP files I got from Sheet Happens. I use Chris's playthrough to help me learn parts I have issues with like that clean second. I slow it down and study what he is doing and reference my Tab book. Then I go to the computer, highlight those parts and slow them down while looping them. Gradually speeding up the tempo til I can get to the actual speed. I like to see if I can get it faster sometimes, I find it helps when I slow it back down to actual speed. Lol

Second skin, I think I finally feel it setting in
Save me from this living hell
This heart an empty shell, this mind a shallow prison
A menace to my health; in solitude, I dwell
Why do we insist that all hope is fleeting?
How do we reset when there's nothing left?
A false idol, I've become the hand that feeds
Making a habit of feigning misery
I have lived so many lives that I cannot fucking tell which one is mine anymore
Severing the ties, lost as I disintegrate
Fade into the deepest depths, to the darkest black
Until there's nothing left, there's nothing left
Second skin, I think I finally feel it setting in
Save me from this living hell
The mask on my face has finally taken over
Forever stuck this way, now that I can't give it up
    I am torn apart
Burning through my veins, born in agony
    I am torn apart
    Beneath the surface, dying within
Carve me out, the faces blend together
One in the same with no identity
    Occupying an empty space
Sentenced to purgatory, stuck in obscurity
    Stuck in obscurity
    Beneath the surface, dying within
Fade into the deepest depths, to the darkest black
Until there's nothing left, there's nothing left
Fade into the deepest depths, to the darkest black
Until there's nothing left, there's nothing fucking left
