Those 1612 releases are gorgeous... Just wish I could afford them! I'm still moody that I missed out on the Hawk... Glad I collected the PE releases back in the day though

I agree, but the only reason Anderson Entertainment are doing this Eagle line is because they're hand-me-downs from the now defunct Eaglemoss. Chances are very slim that AE would produce an original model from scratch. Maybe 1612 will reissue the Product Enterprise XL5 at some point... That was a nice model
@@paulkinnear2727 I've got the PE XL5 it's rather nice, I've just received TB2 from Gerry Anderson not sure what to think of it?
It's a decent alternative for people who missed out on the Product Enterprise Eagles, or can't afford the current Sixteen Twelve releases, but I still find them a bit lacking when viewed close up (although that was true of Eaglemoss' Star Trek releases too). The new base is nice though

Really sweet. I built a couple of eagle models back in the day. Unfortunately, I gave them to my two boys who destroyed the things many years later. Nice to know I could buy a new model and put it together.
They're expensive and for that price, I expect zero seams on the command module!
The Eagle is my favourite spaceship from any sci-fi show. It has been since I got hooked on sci-fi due to watching Space: 1999 as a kid back in the 70's. I painted and built the plastic kit models of the Mk IX Hawk and Eagle back then. 3 Eagles to be precise. Regular white, rescue and VIP. I also got the die-cast green passenger and the blue cargo versions. I have collected many of the Sixteen 12 sets with included Eagles. Infernal machine set, Breakaway set, the large hangar set which included both laboratory Eagle and cargo Eagle, the Earthbound set with the rescue Eagle, a magnetic airlock and the Kaldorian ship. Last but not least the War Games set with a battle damaged Eagle and the Mk IX Hawk with the orange paintwork (used in the episode). I also have the Alan Carter in spacesuit with moon buggy and the John Koenig in spacesuit with laser rifle. I am sad that I never got the Sixteen 12 Eagle signed by Brian Johnson, but at that time I could not afford it. I have a couple of the new plastic kit models as well. Both the large Laboratory Eagle, as well as 2, or 3 of the smaller 1/72 scale versions. I hope to one day plaint and built them as various versions. Also hopefully add cockpit led lighting to them.
The reason I will not get these Eagles is the same as why I didn't get the Eaglemoss versions. They lack the white details around the cockpit windows. To me that detail is an important part of what makes the whole nose cone or cockpit section look so cool. It's a distinct and recognizable Eagle design that these versions lack. Without it and all just all painted black, makes them not look as good. The Sixteen 12 versions has paid more attention to detail. Of course the Sixteen 12 versions are more expensive as well, but still I prefer them to be as correct as possible. I am happy thougk for those that might not have been able to get a hold of any Eagle collectible before. Now they get a chance to. Which is great.
I am a bit of a prefectionist and since it was impossible to get correct versions when I was a kid (the plastic kit model back then were badly molded in details on the railing) and the die-cast versions were not corrrect at all, so finally as an adult I can get versions of the Eagles that looks very close to the screen used studio models (both the sixteen 12 ones, as well as the new plastic kit molds). It has always been a dream of mine. However I have ordered other stuff from your store in the past (the technical operations manual for example is brilliant, as well as some t-shirts) and most likely I will order more stuff in the future. Keep up the good work. 👍
My couple of eagles landed yesterday and are rather nice, £50 off because i ordered 2, Waiting for my TB2 to land in april, Hope they make TB1 in landed mode.

I myself would wait until afew units reach the second hand market, as no way would I want to spend this kind of money 💵 on toys for big boys !!..
About a foot long and £125. They're more the adult collector's models...I think Anderson Entertainment will be releasing some Corgi Eagles as they're selling the classic Corgis now like the Spectrum SPV and Thunderbird 2.

I would like a Corgi one as well.
So what we have is basically the Eaglemoss ‘deluxe’ style for Space:1999. No detachable pod, no springs in the landing gear. Oh well.
So let me predict sales. Basic Eagle will likely sell-thru very quickly. Rescue Eagle will take a bit longer but the two-pack sale will help. Each subsequent variation will sell fewer, of all of them I think the ‘cargo’ or ‘winch’ Eagle will get near the Rescue Eagle numbers as it is so iconic from the first episode. The one that will barely make its minimum sales will be the V.I.P. Eagle, and if they make it one of the next two it might kill the line.
And I could be wrong. 30+ years in retail May mean nothing in this day and age. 😁 i don’t want the GA store to fail, it’s just that there are other ways to do some things that are more…long term sustaining. Blah blah blah. ✌️

The 1999 EAGLE has LANDED...DHL fast shipping from the UK to California. Gorgeous packaging and beautifully detailed engines. Took a good 5 minutes to figure out how to open it. Like all things British, the box is Over-Engineered. HaHa The side has a magnetic lid and lifts open like a hinged shoebox (see video).
The EAGLE is very mono-chromatic in gray, so the rescue EAGLE is a better more colorful choice.
ProTip: The EAGLE landing pads are slick hard plastic, so the EAGLE will slide off the landing pad, which could end in disaster. SuperGlue some grippy rubber feet to the landing pads. You can try velcro, but the landing pads are super tiny.
