    Hi ouliogroove, congratulations for the amazing job you`ve doing so far, your videos are of extreme importance for me, even though we know it`s almost impossible (that`s why it`s a sample xD) to speak so fluently and clearly without being a native speaker, it provides an amazing guidance. Continue with the great job!!

  • @andrehpinto

    @Liduniya thanks!
    Kind of... but it is all about practicing! You have to be as fast as you can to right down a quick answer, just some brief ideas to support you while speaking and avoid long and embarrassing pauses! Just practice as most as you can!

  • @Honeyrandom
    @Honeyrandom 13 років тому

    Just follow the same way of speaking and whatever u choosed as a reason for your choice , it will be accepted as long as u can talk about clearly and fluently , what they care about is how u speak and how u use ur vocabulary and grammer .I did the exam after I saw these videos and I got 26 ,
    What I need help in is how to write in the toefl writing section , the highest score I got was 22 and I need at least 24/30.

    As for indoor or outdoor sports, it depends, people who enjoy indoor sports may like that kind of clean and that sport environment, especially those office people who want to keep in fit and practice muscle and strength. While those who enjoy outdoor sports may have more free time than those who like indoor sports, for outdoor sports always require some more time and preparation, such as traffic tools, car, bike, etc, it is really hard to say which one is much better or not than the other, some kind of systematically combination of both is definitely a perfect choice.

    @cooleryj, I've spent one entire month of my vacation studying for the exam.
    One thing I realized was that every day, when I started to study, my brain kind of need a litle time to get used to the english language and "forget" the portugueese. So, when I took the exam I've spent like half an hour reading some stuff in english so I could get in touch with the language sooner, not just in the exam. It worked with me.

    I am not even able to answer this stupid nonsense qusetion in my own language...

  • @ouliogroove
    @ouliogroove  16 років тому +2

    Well, the sample responses are considered A++, complete and grammatically perfect... But of course you don't need to aim for that to get a good score. Remember that you have 15 secs to prepare, so it is virtually impossible to come up with something nearly as good as the samples.
    Now the best advice I can give you is to follow the "newly added link" in the MORE INFO section and it will lead you to the scoring grid. It is pretty neat and well done and this is what the judges use to grade you.

    Hmm it's said that we need to include examples but the samples don't do that. I mean whit this type of questions there aren't much examples to include.. soo would it be wrong if we don't include any examples?

    @Vooalja, you don't need to speak as fast as those guys, neither with this perfect accent...
    Just try to organize your ideas and speak fluently!
    Try to use a book as well.. I've used Kaplan.

    As for the method to solve the problem of the extra money, deposit or consuming it, it is really a problem, but it is easy to solve than other problems in life we may face everyday. Deposit some and consume some the other to fulfill your demand of goods or essentials,

    @Laparanoicafierita , take a look at my other comments… When I was preparing myself for the exam the grade 100/120 seemed kind of impossible! But since this is a standardized exam, all you need to do is practice, practice a lot, and you will get used to this kind of questions.

    Actually, what the purpose EST designed this test for international test taker? It doesn't base on realistic answer that a not native language attempt to this pronunciation and adding more information just 60 seconds.

      Keep this in mind as you prepare for the TOEFL iBT: ETS uses a variety of accents during the listening, speaking, and writing sections of the exam to simulate the types of English speakers that you may encounter while attending a university. For example, in addition to having an Online TOEFL Course, I am an English Composition professor at California State University, San Bernardino. At my school, we have professors, some of whom have non-native speaker accents of American English, who come from more than 30 countries from around the world. Therefore, as you work on improving your listening comprehension abilities, do some practice at National Public Radio online, where you will definitely get a variety of accents.
