@Flywithbees English isn't my native language. However, I did study in an English-medium school. However, my grammar isn't that great. It's not too bad, not too great. My spoken English is just alright too. Nothing extraordinary. I was pretty comfortable with the listening and reading sections. But the writing and speaking ones are what scared me. I don't speak in English every day, only once in a while. I am certainly not used to writing essays. With very little preparation time, that too! But the actual exam wasn't that bad. Here is the best tip for you, if you are going to take a TOEFL test for the first time - be prepared that your are going to have 4 reading passages. The Emergency Course is meant to prepare you for the exam as best as possible, but it does not increase your English language fluency in a matter of days or weeks. In general, students at lower levels of proficiency should work on the basics of English first. However, this may take time. @@heisenberg2992 You don't need to respond like robot in the speaking section. Just chill and act like you're speaking with your classmate. (If you not hussle for 120) , understand the 10 different types of reading questions and how to answer them.
Great question. Of course, there are many ways, but the best way is by using your English as much as possible. Repetition is key. Speak English whenever you can and read English books in your free time. Fluency will develop over time.
In general, when students are at a lower level of proficiency, I find that TOEFL practice is not the best. Students at lower levels of proficiency should work on the basics of English first. I would suggest investing time in a site like LingQ where you can do some extensive reading that is not connected to the TOEFL, that way you can build your skills and vocabulary with text that is a little bit easier before moving ahead with the TOEFL.
With these types of questions, the best approach is to look for a reference phrase in the sentence. Then try to find the same reference phrase in the paragraph. It will usually appear in the sentence before the correct answer. If you are still struggling, you might want to try a trial lesson and they can give you some pointers - tstprep.com/store/toefl-trial-lesson/
You do not have enough time to read the passage and answer the questions. I recommend going one paragraph at a time. I usually suggest students read the question and the first and second possibility and then search for the answer. However, let me emphasize that you should find a style that you are comfortable with, that is most important.
You can find useful tips on our site here - tstprep.com/articles/. Hi there and thank you for taking the time to comment. In my opinion, you will read naturally as you answer the questions so you should have read all of the passage by the time you get to the summary question. Still, I encourage you to experiment and see which approach you feel most comfortable with.

Thanks for your question. In general yes, that is how you should do it, but it also depends on the question type. On some questions, the strategy will be slightly different, but the short answer is yes. :)
Overconfidence had me for good like seriously. Today was my exam and I got 15 in reading and 15 in listening 🙂 Jan intake gone now
Sorry to hear that. If you do end up needing to retake the test, you might want to try our courses or classes to help your score - tstprep.com/store/toefl/.
Brother, i want to get prepared for toefl ibt test. from where to start. Should i follow their official practice tests or what?

Your awsome
I don't even have time for emergency course, I have the toefl in 2 days😭
Wish u luck!!, me too and i am stressed abt Speaking !
@@flywithbees Good luck!!
you guys i think i will do well in every section except for the reading one and Josh just uploaded this video. i think is a kind of good signal HAHA i wish you good luck
Good luck 👍 😊
I have in 6 days and I am not ready Minus 200$
You telling the truth, TOEFL passage is better to read the question and then read the passage.
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
@ TSTPrep, You are welcome.
I scored 66 in my last test but I need 90, do you recommend to buy the emergency course? I only have 5 weeks to be ready
The Emergency Course is meant to prepare you for the exam as best as possible, but it does not increase your English language fluency in a matter of days or
weeks. In general, students at lower levels of proficiency should work on the basics of English first. However, this may take time. You can try a trial lesson with one of our tutors for more personalized assessment and guidance. That will give you the clearest idea of where you are at - tstprep.com/store/toefl/trial-lesson-for-the-toefl-ibt/
I want to practice for toefl itp and 537 is passing where can i practice?
Unfortunately, we don't have any resources for TOEFL ITP. You will have to check out other UA-cam channels or sites.
Taking a test soon…how do I improve it?😮 I’m still getting a similar score in mock tests.
Every student is unique, so it is hard for me to give advice to you in particular, but you might want to meet with one of our tutors for more specific advice and guidance - tstprep.com/toefl-store/toefl-trial-lesson
Thank u so much!❤🎉
Dude I literally studied 3-day with your PDFs and I scored 100, maybe my English is ok but hanks tho for hacks
what do you think the most important thing is?
oh god, congrats. ¿how you consider your english level was before taking the test?
@@heisenberg2992 You don't need to respond like robot in the speaking section. Just chill and act like you're speaking with your classmate. (If you not hussle for 120) , understand the 10 different types of reading questions and how to answer them.
@@it.josegq I thought I could score 115 :D
Hey, where to find these pdfs?
In emergency course do you practice speaking section?
Hi there and thank you for asking. The Emergency Course includes videos and practice resources for all TOEFL sections, including speaking.
How can we improve our english fluency?
Great question. Of course, there are many ways, but the best way is by using your English as much as possible. Repetition is key. Speak English whenever you can and read English books in your free time. Fluency will develop over time.
Thank you.
what should i do, if i know every single word in the passage, however, i cannot understand the passage at all
In general, when students are at a lower level of proficiency, I find that TOEFL practice is not the best. Students at lower levels of proficiency should work on the basics of English first. I would suggest investing time in a site like LingQ where you can do some extensive reading that is not connected to the TOEFL, that way you can build your skills and vocabulary with text that is a little bit easier before moving ahead with the TOEFL.
Tomorrow is my test please pray for me 🥲
I hope it went well.
I am continuously making mistake in the "insert text" question . Can somebody please explain me the technique?
With these types of questions, the best approach is to look for a reference phrase in the sentence. Then try to find the same reference phrase in the paragraph. It will usually appear in the sentence before the correct answer. If you are still struggling, you might want to try a trial lesson and they can give you some pointers - tstprep.com/store/toefl-trial-lesson/
how can you test toefl
So we have to read question first then passage??
You do not have enough time to read the passage and answer the questions. I recommend going one paragraph at a time. I usually suggest students read the question and the first and second possibility and then search for the answer. However, let me emphasize that you should find a style that you are comfortable with, that is most important.
I have less than 10 days toefl give me some tips how should i practice in all areas.

Hi there and thank you for commenting. There are three great sites that you can use for free to find academic passages similar to the ones in the TOEFL Reading and TOEFL Listening sections: National Geographic, TED, and Scientific American. Check out this video for more tips -ua-cam.com/video/osGQ6axyI7I/v-deo.html Working with a teacher can save time and stress. can we back to queation?
Hi there and yes, you can jump around to different questions. I hope that answers your question.
I think this tip doesn’t bode well for time saving
It is particularly trueb for the last summary question where we have to have a comprehensive idea about the whole passage, not reading the passage first might just cost in my opinion
Hi there and thank you for taking the time to comment. In my opinion, you will read naturally as you answer the questions so you should have read all of the passage by the time you get to the summary question. Still, I encourage you to experiment and see which approach you feel most comfortable with.
Could you help me to improve my English to take TOEFL exam after 3 month

How did you get?
Duolingo is the best option, do not waste time doint TEFL test this test doesnt make sense.
Thank you for your feedback. Everyone has a different opinion but usually, people feel Duolingo English Test is easier. However, some institutions and licensing boards do not accept Duolingo English Test or any form of an "at-home" test, so you must check with your program to confirm its requirements.
