think I figured out the role im best at is anchor. my friends all were on apex around the initial release. I was a couple years late to action. hit Plat for the first time. Seen my improvement. I watch vods and the pros all the time now. Most folks dream of being aggresive, I just wanna play my role. Rank definitely could be better without the drop ship
Streamer bans are such a stupid idea. People whose livelihood is dependent on their performance cannot be trusted to be impartial. EA has the money to pay for people to do this, but choose not to. The solution isn't giving ranked grinders the ability to ban their competition, really incredible amount of copium getting passed around in this podcast.
Nah I think just them saying they are landing there will cause no other team to land there. All of the teams know falcons is the best in fighting. No team wants to fight falcons on drop. And falcons is crazy enough to keep landing there even if it’s contested. Zero, Gen and Hal aren’t scared and they’ll contest you if that’s what you want lol.
@@BigSuzpekt I disagree on all levels! It's such a big poi that no one team will land there, think of skyhook it's split to east and west so is fragment. QZ will be no different also it's a major risk to land there when some random team would throw your match considering there are about 7 different choke points entrances to the poi making it the most likely place teams will die. Falcons is likely to land at a better more straightforward poi that has less variables. Also they aren't afraid to fight teams when the game is moving along but they don't wanna have to 50-50 a drop spot with another team guaranteed
@@olcatgaming859they recently changed it to where i believe if youre only in bronze when the split resets it does throw you back into rookie. ik for 99% of the playerbase that won't happen but if you take a season-long break you might be back in rookie.
The dropship thing is huge. It would make the game instantly 300% better if drops were predetermined in advance just like in ALGS. (It would seem random to players, but there could be a balancing system in the background) People hot-dropping in pubs, especially in PC lobbies where half the lobby will have died after 2 minutes and then you'll have 6 minutes of 5 teams wandering around looking for fights. It's the most boring thing ever. I miss Straight Shot, but I really think they should ditch the dropship altogether, even for pubs. Player count would increase.
It’s not fun right now because of all the cheaters and because ALGS and regular games are played differently. I think the cheaters are the main thing. Right now you don’t know if you got outplayed or if someone has some sort of advantage through cheats so it’s discouraging playing right now.
I agree with the draft for rank. My only concern is how it might be too unbalanced at times. At least for pro league, teams choose. Rank being random would suck. Imagine getting the worst drops in rank more than a couple games in a row. It could get to a point where games seem unfair when you get really bad drops and you can’t control it. If they can find a way for players to vote it would be better. Like maybe have a choosing portion where the team chooses between three different pois.
maybe it should go off past performances in previous games. so a teams 5 game avg determines what quality pois they get in a lobby, then the performance of that game would go into the next etc
Can we all vote olympus just to see pros getting grief for the entertainment
Can we get an hour long loop of the intro on Spotify?
absolute banger

the community in Dota 2 has a review system where the community can vote ban scripters and griefers.
Falcons are too smart to risk dropping qz on broken moon and having two other teams land there. There's no chance they drop there.

They need to remove rookie like what’s the point of rookie if I hit plat or diamond im obvi not a rookie player
Rookie only gets given to first time rankers iirc?

Jxmo is pvpx, he changed his tag a few months ago
I love ALGS but outside of competitive the game itself is not fun to play
