They could always make the drafts for each match different and have each team set for their top pick and lower pick for each map. This would have them do each map twice and each team would then never land(ideally) at the same spot. Could make some more diversity in each game which is more closely to core apex.

I'm such a big fan of the pod that I was more excited at the idea of Hal's spicy answer expanding the pod's audience than I was about the implications what Hal was actually saying. I love this podcast.
