Scott Lowell my dad been working at a tire recycle company now fixing commercial tractor trailers for the company since 1973 at 18 years old and has 3 years left to retire i salute people.like this ups driver and others who stay at a company like that for decade's. And my dad goes in at 6am comes home around 7pm on Monday threw Friday and 6am to 12pm Saturdays with Sunday of.
I don't think that self-driving tractor-trailers will be reliable, especially in my state. It rains like crazy where I live, snows, droughts, etc. They have another 10 to 20 years to go before figuring out how to make the robots drive in inclement weather. Someone also needs to handle the packages for the regular moving trucks or whatever you want to call them. It takes a lot of money and time to figure out how to program a robot and make it think for its self.

I recently quit my driver job cuz of my cheap manager always thinking it was ok to run illegal. Cracked brakes, missing license plates, operating machinery without training or certifications, broken lights, driving in heavy rain w/ no wipers, running steer tires on the trailer while fully loaded, no ELD’s when going out of 100 mile radius .... list goes on. Only for $19/hr...
